Tyron Smith to sign one day contract to retire as a Cowboy

Canton accepts SN/PWFA all pro selections (he made both in 2015 and 2017) so they'll have him listed as 4x 1st team.

They'll also list his 8x NFL top 100 as well so really stacked resume. I say he ends up 2nd ballot which is what Orland Pace made

Great idea Tyron .. join your long time teammate Zack Martin into retirement and a very near future HOF induction.

Not just one of the very best OL guys Dallas Cowboys ever had ..but one of the very best OTs ever in NFL history.

I would say the all decade team should be a clincher but he is a cowboy

The only two cowboys jerseys I’ve ever bought are Demarcus Ware and Tyron Smith. Two legendary careers wasted by this franchise. At least ware got his ring.
I wouldn't call it a waste. Ware and Smith got compensated extraordinary well their entire career. Millions of fans adored and or respected them. It's not a boring job! They experienced many wins as well as losses. Tyron Smith wanted to officially retire as a Dallas Cowboy.

It is very disappointing to not get to the Super Bowl let alone your team winning it after once having been so dominant. That doesn't take away from the fact that post-90s, this ownership/general management, and nepotistic upper management have been an impediment to post season success and tarnished the greatness of the Dallas Cowboys.
