With less than a week to go, the NFL.com rankings seem to have stabilized so here is the numerical breakdown of the draft class.

183 players with draftable grades
99 players with eventual average starter or higher grades
65 players with plus starter or higher grades

Of those 65 players
10 Wide Receivers (including Hunter)
5 Running Backs
5 Linebackers (including Walker)
7 Defensive Tackles
8 Corner Backs (including Hunter)
13 Defensive End/Edge

Not the numbers I would have expected, especially with only five running backs with plus starter or higher grades. However, that's why I wouldn't wait very long to take one. And then I'd take another one later. Assuming Jeanty and Hampton are gone after the first round, I'd expect the other three (Johnson, Henderson, Judkins?) to disappear in the second.

Not really when you consider pass protection as part of their job. For the most part these backs are considered weak in pass protection with I think Sampson having the highest rank of recognizable names I was familiar with.
Just because they don’t initially start doesn’t mean they won’t by midseason or so when they get up to speed in that aspect!
