Cowboys former strength and conditioning coach Joe Juraszek passes away

I have seen folks over the last few years pass away in their mid 50s. Now it's really common. Like we always taught our kids, take advantage of today, tomorrow isn't promised. My heart goes out to the Family .
At all. Important to tell those you love you love them while you still can.

Absolutely untrue, look up the statistics. Those with brains make intelligent and sensible decisions usually.
Let me guess… “fake news [durp durp durp]”

Well said. Sometimes when it's time to go, it's time. Nothing will change our expiration date. Despite our best intentions.
You’re right but at the same time you don’t want to fast forward to your exportation date. I say live life the way you want. No point in being miserable.

RIP

Wow, I drank and smoked for 40 years and worked out for maybe 40 minutes of those 40 years.

I eat from the list of banned items from every "healthy living" menu ever created.

Sugar is my primary food group.

When I told my doctor that I planned on taking better care of myself, he responded, "Why bother.......and, by the way, could you pay me in advance?"

When strength and conditioning coaches are out after 67 years, what chance do I have?
It is wild a few years ago Markus Paul died during training camp didn’t he? Think he was our strength and conditioning coach too.

Nice CDC link, genius, but last I checked, the thread wasn’t about the US birth rates, it was birth rates in general.

Africa’s population is set to triple by 2100—check the UN’s projections, not your Cal Poly syllabus. Reading comp not your strong suit, huh?
Can someone explain to this homeschooled valedictorian that historical trends of actual data are not the same as projections 75 years into the future?
:lmao2:

Here’s your global data:

Perhaps there should be some type of research into the modern techniques of strengthening and conditioning.

Not only do some of these coaches seem to pass away at a younger age, but I would swear that there are far more injuries occurring today than there ever was in the past.

This even seems to be true despite all the so called "safety" rules that were put in place during the early 80's and beyond.

I may be looking at things through the lens of a diehard Cowboys fan, but it truly feels as though the Cowboys injuries over the past ten seasons have been, shall we say, disproportionate?

There’s a lot of conspiracies and theories to why people are going into cardiac arrest at such a young age….we probably should reevaluate the supplements and workout regimes we are doing…and shockingly it’s not even the bigger guys. It’s smaller athletes who seem to be having it.

Some wrestlers are mighty big and they seem to have a problem with early deaths.
