Would you make this trade down with the Chiefs?

Well, you're dropping all the way down to 31 and you're getting a very late 2nd and 4th and their 2026 1st almost certainly will be at the end of the round too.
It does add two likely starters over the next two years you wouldnt have had. I'd do it because, I dont see real premium talent at 12. Simmons is probably the only player available thats really worth that pick.

Moving down that far I'd want more. All those picks will be at the very end of each round so it's not as enticing as it sounds.
In a normal draft, then maybe, but it's weak in 1st RD talent, and value happens to match our needs with a number of good 1-Tech, RB, CB, WR.

Our persistent problem comes at the middle and bottom end of the roster.....too many JAGS, this draft could help out, rather than trying to find a franchise 'saviour' at 12, in a poor.

Some on here have a peculiar standpoint that we're actually competing in 2025.....WE ARENT. Give Schott a developmental draft, that gives us a decent chance in 2026 (with the added 1st Rd pick)

I would, for sure.

I'd rather have Burden at 31, plus the opportunity to get two players in round 2-- any combo of DT, DE, CB, LB, OG, RB, even TE or S--than Golden + just one of those positions.

In all likelihood, there won't be a huge talent gap between who we can get at 12 and at 31.

I’m putting the phone on silent and taking Campbell or Membou.
Out of interest, where would those two of landed in the last couple of drafts? They both appear to be potentially available around 12, due to the limited elite talent ,in the draft, rather than their abilities

No I don’t agree at all. I don’t think either are top level elite prospects, but OT’s that are going top 5.

Top 11 OL draft picks the past 3 years:
2022- Ekonwu, Neal, Cross
2023- Paris Johnson Jr, Wright, Skoronski
2024- Alt, Latham, Fashonu

Joe Alt is about the only 1 I think you could say is a significantly better prospect than Campbell or Membou

Not from what I've heard from the professionals.

I would jump all over that trade. Would lose out on Golden/Tet and probably Egbuka but you can still get a WR better than Tolbert, and find quality players RB, DT, CB and LB plus have a 2nd first next season. Next years 1st will most likely be 28 or so but still worth it.
