Cooks ran 4.33 but I see what you mean, if Golden had a similar career as Cooks then we should be ecstatic.

He did. But to be fair Cooks just doesn’t have the same speed anymore when he was with the cowboys. Age is a cruel mistress.

If the choice is between those two. I want Golden.

We haven’t had speed like his at receiver in quite a while. Somebody to stretch the field and force safeties to play further back. It would be super helpful to the offense.

So we can run him on 10 yard in patterns or curls like we did with Cooks? This team hasn't used a speed receiver correctly in years.

Cooks had 1100 and 1700 receiving yards his last 2 seasons in college and Payton got slammed by sports media here in Louisiana for taking a slot receiver at 20. That lingering criticism in part is what led to him being traded to the Pats.
Golden isn’t nearly refined as a route runner as what Cooks was coming out!
I think he’s a lot closer to Paris Campbell than he is Cooks!
