Schrager Mock 4/23/25

Elite interior with trash tackles
I can see their thinking though. Tyler, Beebe, Booker is one heck of a wall in front of the QB.

From a cap POV, they'd have three fifths of the OL on rookie deals. They'd have to resign Smith, but I'd imagine they would offset that by cutting Steele eventually. Or they could be thinking Booker replaces Smith if they can't resign him. One thing this team does, that I don't love, is draft players to replace a guy they're not going to resign next year, rather than filling the holes they currently have. Eg. Kneeland for Lawrence, Ferguson for Schultz. I also think they wanted Beebe to replace Martin but he exceeded expectations at C

Keep in mind 11 other teams would have passed on Graham also. In other words with those same 11 teams pass on Hunter and/or Carter?

This is one of teh worst mock drafts I have seen yet. Thank goodness the draft is tomorrow night so we can end this madness.

How does Graham fall to 13? How does SF take Nolan over Graham? I predict there will be surprises in this draft but that's not one I had in mind.

Dallas taking Booker at 12 would be the ignite a riot among Cowboys fans. With Graham, TMac, Golden and a bunch of others on the board Dallas takes an OG who probably wouldn't go for another dozen picks?

Two TEs in the top 10? ( this is shocking but at the same time, it might happen. I read somewhere Denver wants to move up to take Warren or Loveland) But what I read was Denver would be moving up just outside the top 10. Even that sounds crazy.

Then again, I am not a Schrager fan.

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward QB Miami
2. Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter WR/CB Colorado
3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter EDGE Penn St.
4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell T LSU

9. New Orleans Saints - Mykel Williams EDGE Georgia
10. Indianapolis Colts (Chicago) - Colston Loveland TE Michigan *TRADE
11. San Francisco 49ers - Walter Nolen DT Mississippi

12. Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Booker G Alabama
Booker, a bully of a guard, could help add some much-needed beef to the Cowboys' line. Having had Zack Martin retire this offseason, there's going to be a desire to fill the interior with a plug-and-play lineman.

Everyone will be clamoring for the Cowboys to take a running back or receiver. Let's go guard, though. That's how I see it.

13. Miami Dolphins - Mason Graham DT Michigan
14. Chicago Bears (Indianapolis) - Kelvin Banks Jr. T Texas *TRADE

I'm pulling for Booker even though we need a pulling guard

maybe this draft they finally recognize players from univ of alabama.
bama players have never been one of stephens "blinking lights".
love both booker and ohio st's donovan jackson.
wouldn't hate it.
schrager is worth paying attention to.
his mocks are "tea leaves".

With this team anything is possible…..feel like the only thing McClay and scouts are good at is Oline in the 1st round….

well they messed up with Guyton, can you imagine the endless grief the Jones idiots will face if they have a consensus top 5 player drop to them and they let him go for to draft a freaking guard?.it will almost be on the level of Luka misdeed.

I've been high on Booker all year but if they pass on Graham I would be upset.
Graham is a top 5 talent in this draft and I find it hard to believe he would free fall like this.

ESPN paying a fortune to pull Schrager from NFLN, then getting buzzed on the toilet work seems about right.

I don’t think Dallas will draft Booker. Haven’t they brought in like 5 guards since free agency started.

Always felt Graham was going to be the top 5 player that would fall. The stooges should be running to the podium to make this pick if Graham is there at 12. In any draft Graham would probably come off the board at 12.

I don't get why McMillan is dropping...I don't believe it until it happens.
Don’t think he is. Some boards have the Jags getting him for Sunshine at 5.

Anyone’s board can get wonky. Schrager’s own board with Graham at 13? That doesn’t feel right.

Aye, right! :lmao:

No chance does Graham make it out of the top 10 - and if he did, you better believe we’re not picking a guard over him at 12.

Honestly, man…

Booker would be a mauling beast in the run game and having him next to Cooper would be maulers

I will say though. The guy I would want above the others has been and still is Mason Graham.

However I think they ARE looking for DT but I think they are looking for 1 Techs not 3 Techs. I think they feel ok with Osa and Solomon.

I do not care if graham has short arms or whatever reason would make him slide. I think he is one of those exception to the rules when it comes to arm length, height, weight or other measurables. Aaron Donald was smaller than most people wanted him to be coming out but he was a beast and the exception to the rule. I think Graham is the same. It is hard to claim anyone will be as good as Donald but I do think Mason would be a great player for anyones defense even if you put him in as a 1 tech who could also rush the passer.

With that said...I would still be happy with booker because he would help the run game and if the run game is going the rest of the team will be doing better.
