Potential Trade candidates per Broaddus

After Jerry’s comments about a trade or 2 being in the works BB asked around and got the below names as potential trade targets for the Cowboys. Not saying we’re definitely in on these guys but his sources indicates he’d are guys they’re hearing could be available and that would make sense for us.

Jalen Ramsey
Rashad White
Travis Etienne
Jameson Williams
George Pickens

Not a lot of needle movers IMO but I do like the idea of Etienne eating a fresh start. Good young player.

I wouldn't be opposed to adding Ramsey, Williams or Pickens depending on the compensation.
Travis is ok, but I wouldn't give up much at all for him. Maybe a 6th, late 5th at best.
I have zero interest in White

Feel like it’d be an overpay for Ramsey, Williams and Pickens. Ramsey is out of his prime, Williams is kind of a gadget player and is overrated and Pickens could destroy out locker room.

Id happily give up a 5th for Etienne.

Hell no to Pickens. Dude is a menace out there for his own team. Something about Steelers and diva WRs

Rather just draft a RB in this deep class.

Trade for Ramsey if Miami eats half of his guaranteed or something. but make it during day 3 so the day 2 picks are safe

Trading anything substantial for Pickens, when he's at the end of his contract, would be so Jerry. The Steelers would feel like they were on the end of another Chase Claypool robbery.

Now if it's for a late round pick, which you'd potentially get back at the least on a comp pick down the road, different deal.

I’d be calling the Jets about Breece Hall…not sure if the rumors that he could be available are true, but he’s the only RB I’d have any interest in a trade.

Williams would be an ideal #2 receiver.

Jax was also a bottom feeder last year in run block run rate…context matters.

Etienne has averaged 3.8 and 3.7 ypc the last 2 seasons. Might as well bring Zeke back for another go!

round pick. Lions are probably trying to sell high knowing he’s not living up to his draft status.

I really like his ability to stretch the field. If the Lions were willing to give us Williams and another pick to move up to 12, I would be interested. Yes, there is risk involved with Williams, but he is very talented.

Honestly I think Golden is a reach at 12 but I’d rather just keep the pick and take him than trade it for Williams. Williams has had 3 years now and you basically know what you’re getting.

I think Golden would bring that same speed and could give us 1300 yards in 3 years…

Just not a needle mover worth the price IMO.
