So,...nothing Earth shaking but I'll give you what Ive got. I've been on the Kaleb Johnson train for a couple of months now when it comes to our 2nd round pick. As luck would have it I have a professional relationship with a current NFL player that also went to the university of Iowa so I asked him about what Johnson is as a person,...is he a worker, a stand up guy, a team guy, ect ect, if he had any problems, Turns out he was literally working out with him just yesterday! He told me Kaleb is the real deal,...no attitude problems, and an absolute work horse. He also told me that Johnson is darn near a picture perfect fit for our new offense and running game being installed by Klayton Adams. Like I said,...nothing Earth shaking,...but good to know.

Certainly not afraid of contract. Team needs a physical 20 touch a game back. Would not mind at all if he became a Cowboy. Iowa players never seem to produce high maitainance playerd, just good fundamental players which this team could use.

Yeah I saw him being interviewed yesterday, he has a good head and he is a tough dude. Not sure how low he goes he isn't a long distance break away back, but he will have a lot yards if featured.

Thanks for the info. He seems like the forgotten RB. During the season though, it was always Jeanty, Hampton, and Johnson.

Start of process he and Hampton were my two RB targets. Due to the testing results, I have Judkins ahead of him now, it is very close. Unlike most, not a fan of Henderson. Would be very happy if Johnson was the pick!

If trade down fails and we end up with

Tet/Golden
Johnson
Rd 3 DT 1T

Then i guess i could live with it

Man avenging hayseed whoever you are mister with the sopranos avatar man we been doing these dork forums for 20 years now thats crazy I always be seeing your posts and they’re never stupid posts they’re always good posts it’s good to see you how ya been man we made it we got another draft tonight

I think Johnson would be a good pick for Dallas. But I would pair him with a speedier RB like Jayden Blue, who hopefully lasts until the 5th round. Johnson would be the workhorse and Blue would be the change of pace.

We need to pluck two backs from this draft. A bell cow and a take it to the house guy. RJ Harvey is my pet cat and Id draft him as early as Rd 3. He can also house it. But we need a hammer also. That's why Phil Mafah or Mullings would be a RB I'd look at in rd 5.

Always good to get info from ppl that have relationships with players...thanks for posting. Saw the interview with Kaleb yesterday and he seems like the type of personality you want as a lead back.

I'd prefer to take the 1T DT @44 because you most likely aren't getting a good one @76. But it's more likely you can still get a good RB there.
Give me WR T McMillan, 1T Williams and RB D Sampson and I'll be stoked.
As deep as the class is they might even wait until the 4th (after a trade) or possibly the 5th to take a RB. They could easily go CB @ 76.
So WR Tet, DT Williams, CB Parrish and say RB Giddons/Tuten at 120ish would work.

agreed
Id prefer that too

HE really needs to work on his Pass Protection; but then he looks like a guy that will work at it like crazy so for second rd pick I would do it

I hear you, but that isn’t an issue if we also take a guy like Blue or Tuten in a later round. It’s why I’d be just fine with Johnson or Judkins. I do prefer someone a bit more well-rounded like Henderson or Sampson though.
