If the top 11 go something like this, who is your guy?

If you’re on the clock with no trade options and the following are taken.

Ward, Hunter, Carter, Jeanty, Membou, Warren, Walker, McMillan, Graham, Campbell are gone and either Johnson/Williams are picked by 11.

Who is the pick?

With Golden, Egbuka and Burden still on the board. A definite trade down should be done. If you acquire as part of a trade down someone like Sutton or Pickens, you target the best defensive player available at which ever position with the 1st round pick and select with your 2nd rounder one of Henderson, Judkins or Johnson.

Sanders at QB.

The pressure from Deion to play him and Sanders being a strong personality himself will break Dak.

Feed me the drama.

The real decision is, with no trade down possible, who do you take. If this situation happens we’ll really see if the Cowboys believe in any form of BPA at all, or if they will reach for a WR, RB etc.

I don’t think this no trade scenario is very unlikely. There are reports out there that almost every team wants to move back. There is a real chance no one wants to move up. Apparently some are also saying moving back this year nets you about 70% of what you usually get. Terrible year to move back.

I will give you something to pine on, in all reality this could have seriously happened. Dak was not extended before the season. He’s now the starting QB for Pittsburgh. Deion is our HC, and his son is our new QB.

Is Hampton just not on everyone's radar? Why wouldn't he be a good pick? Are all of you thinking of just getting a RB in the 2nd or 3rd?

If I can find a trade partner I would trade down.

If not, I like what Jane Slater reported. Nolen, Golden or Pearce. But trading down seems like a great Idea.

You like James Pearce at 12?

L's in your face.

I would be trying to trade down and pickup a 3 unless it was a major trade down then a 2. I would want the OSU receiver, or Burden or the best Olineman or corner available.

Roy Williams the WR has also scared me off of Texas WRs. I know he’s a different type of player than Golden, but I think the Texas media in general has a huge bias toward players from Texas or who play in Texas. I hated that Williams move when it happened but I remember that move widely celebrated on this board. I just think many people here hear a lot of Texas hype so when I see it on the board I’m always skeptical.

I’m not from or in Texas. I haven’t heard that Golden is a top ten like player. From what I’ve heard he’d be a reach anywhere around 10. He looks like a sub 6ft guy, speed guy without a 1,000 yard season. That’s not typically a top half of the draft kind of WR. I’m sure there has been a guy like this taken this early but I doubt it’s common.

He doesn’t look like Nabers or Odunze from last year or multiple other top 10ish WR’s in the past. I can’t see a scenario where Golden is BPA or very close to it at 12.
