Moving Smith out to T if Guyton or Steele struggle is still in play. Hoff and Bass filled in adequately last season so worst case we are looking at Smith, Booker, Beebe, Hoffman, Guyton/Steele. Solves the OT problem and allows for a strong IOL. I don't love it at 12, but it should allow the coaches to field an upgraded OL from what we saw last year. Depth is looking good as well.

I wonder if they simply go 5 best OL and if that means T Smith moves out to LT, then so be it.

They decided Smith was a LG a couple of years ago. They think that he's going to have a HOF career there. They aren't moving him.

I don't hate the pick, i just think it wasn't great value there. I just hope with that pick that we can get either Hanpton or Henderson in the second. I'm not optimistic.
