Stephen Jones: We are in position not to reach for a RB or any player

He did not actually say they were not drafting a RB.
But all the responses were the typical ones.
yes so in my mistake, can you fix it, I mean you've saved me time after time in the past (they need to give you the awards they've given me!!) :hammer:

Because they didn’t spend #12 on Hampton?

Thats the big reveal to the league?
That they didn’t go WR. Yea. The nfl knows they need one and they can lie all they want if they think the WR room is good they are lying to themselves.

With a quote like this it's no wonder for fans to be looking forward to when Stephen takes over.

Cowboys!

This mindset of consistently over-estimating the talent level of the team and not having to be aggressive in the draft is precisely why the Cowboys have dwelled in mediocrity over the past 30 years and have been eclipsed by teams who were once inferior to the Cowboys, due to their massive coaching and talent upgrades; and their ability to identify and strengthen their weaknesses. Contrast that to the Cowboys still living off their achievements from the Johnson era, in which nobody in the organization played an active role and living with the delusion they are still relevant and are only 1-2 players away from contending in the Super Bowl.

Must be nice for Stephen to have tenure and such a pivotal role in the Cowboys organization, not because he is competent, but because his Daddy is the owner.
