Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 2 thread

That’s a good comp. Though Deion has a college team to run while his kid is playing. He shouldn’t be that much of an issue during the season. Lavar was selling shoes and living through his kids during the season. I don’t even know what he did for a living.
Yes but Deion has more media access, meaning things go a little wrong with his son and he's criticizing the coach for play calling or scheme or the GM for not surrounding him with talent etc..

Who wants that

Yeah, he’s better than a few of the other QBs taken….this is actually crazy….like all the teams got together and said “nobody take him, teach him a lesson”…..which is a **** move by them…they punishing him because his dad, cuz it’s not because of his play. Would have though Tom Brady would have put in a good word for the Raiders, but apparently not.
I don't think they got together. That's really petty. The guy didn't do anything to the league to deserve that. I just think something about him made teams steer clear of him.

It has to be something he said. Or his attitude in general. If he was great, teams would overlook that. But if you're not a top end prospect at QB, no one is going to want to deal with issues. But it is clear something about him has made the rounds, and teams are steering clear.

I know we're rumored to be trying to trade for Breece Hall. If that falls through, I'd be interested in Dallas bringing in Nick Chubb as a free agent. Yes, he played poorly last year coming off injury, but if he return to form, it could be a great pickup. Obviously, the market for him was less than what he thought it would be and Cleveland signaled that it is moving on with the Quinshon Judkins pick in the second.

what a joke
there is no conspiracy or collusion
The NFL did not think he was worth a good pick with all his baggage and everything else

Exactly.

Some people never learn. Then you get the bumkissers complaining later in the season when the Cowboys D can't stop the opponents from continuing to run the ball down our throats.
If we can score some points, other teams will need to throw. We have needs every where. I don't kiss azz, and I like this pick....if there was a run stopper rated as high as this kid, then yes....but I see it as great value. Especially if Dak is back and can put up points.
He is short, small and is limited to only pass rushing. Purely a situational pass rusher. Should have been a mid round pick.
Lol....

been thinking about that over the past couple of days as well..

If you really don't believe there is a dark web in the NFL.....and everything is legit....Then how can you explain Sanders not getting picked?

This is just another black eye that the NFL is fixed....There is no explaination for why Shedeur Sanders QB Colorado is still available.

Some team will take Sanders in the next couple of rounds. I wouldn’t mind Dallas pulling the trigger and gamble if he slides to them in the 5th. Getting humbled might make him work harder and evolve. His upside is way greater than anyone left at that point.

Probably none of these will make it to us in the fifth, but I like:

RB Dylan Sampson
RB Jordan James
RB Bhaysul Tuten

WR Jalen Royals
WR Elic Ayomanor

DT Joshua Farmer
DT Ty Hamilton
DT Ty Robinson

LB Danny Stutsman

Teams don’t want the baggage and drama.

Yeah, this is crazy, he’s nowhere near that bad…..it’s like they all blackballing him for the hype his dad brought to Colorado, he actually played really well. It’s messed up what they doing to him tbh.
What THEY are doing to him? From what I've heard and seen, he has done this to himself. Attitude, entitlement, etc... Did you see his pre-draft "video"? He has a whole brand for himself called "Legendary" and the "symbol" for Shedeur Sanders is a dollar sign squared....

Nobody wants the circus. He's not good enough for that. His daddy is half the problem.
