I don't think they got together. That's really petty. The guy didn't do anything to the league to deserve that. I just think something about him made teams steer clear of him.

It has to be something he said. Or his attitude in general. If he was great, teams would overlook that. But if you're not a top end prospect at QB, no one is going to want to deal with issues. But it is clear something about him has made the rounds, and teams are steering clear.

Yeah, it’s crazy….dont think he was any “worse” than say Baker Mayfield and he went 1. It’s like they are scared of Deion or something, it’s wild.

His play on the field does not warrant this big of a slide though….thats the thing. Some of the QBs picked ahead are NOT better than him

This is just another black eye that the NFL is fixed....There is no explaination for why Shedeur Sanders QB Colorado is still available.

Very good reason. No one wanted him. They have other needs to fill before taking a somewhat competent QB. It's a black eye only to those throwing the punches claiming conspiracy. Besides, he's an idiot in the locker room. We got enough prima donnas.

What THEY are doing to him? From what I've heard and seen, he has done this to himself. Attitude, entitlement, etc... Did you see his pre-draft "video"? He has a whole brand for himself called "Legendary" and the "symbol" for Shedeur Sanders is a dollar sign squared....

Is he any worse than say Baker Mayfield though with attitude? I mean this is one hell of a slide for arguably the best QB or second best in this draft…..I mean I get there’s a Deion factor, but this is kinda crazy, for how he actually played…..

Yeah, he’s better than a few of the other QBs taken….this is actually crazy….like all the teams got together and said “nobody take him, teach him a lesson”…..which is a **** move by them…they punishing him because his dad, cuz it’s not because of his play. Would have though Tom Brady would have put in a good word for the Raiders, but apparently not.

There’s players with much worse “baggage”…..skill wise he’s much better than this. I get his dad and the “flash” is a thing, but much more risky players with baggage have gone higher. We will see how it turns out.

90% of the players drafted the last two days are “cocky”. This has to be an attitude issue. The one position you can’t afford a contentious attitude in football is your quarterback. Look at guys like Prescott and Hurts. No one ever said either one of them was a sure fire NFL quarterback candidate. One is making $60 million per season, the other is playing in Super Bowls. A smart young quarterback would have looked at those two and said “I’m going to act just like those guys.” Instead he acts like he is great. Prescott isn’t great. Hurts isn’t great. And Sanders isn’t great. Two know better than to strut around as if they are.

Yes hes worse, mayfield was a better prospect almost across the board and it still took him awhile to grow. It’s not attitude with him it’s humility and accountability Sanders has never had to ever answer to anyone but his father. What nfl team wants to invest draft capital into a kid they have no clue how he is going to respond to being talked to in a different manner from how his father does?

Not risky because next season is already a wash. Diggs hasn't played well in two years. It was a huge need.

Far worse. Plus, Mayfield had a huge college career. Sanders did not

Heard this too and I think Deion isn’t helping. When told he may drop pre draft he guaranteed top of 1st. That’s what a team is dealing with….Dad in your ear…distraction

Skill wise he’s better than day three but was for the most part a day 2 talent. Problem for him is he plays qb where teams are only looking for one starter and then a support system behind, and they want that starter to be mature and problem free and that backup to stay in the shadows and be helpful. The simple issue is Sanders is a fringe talent that wants all the pageantry and limelight and has one of the most well known and vocal people in his court as father that more than likely will attempt to UNDERMINE the authority of most of the coaching staffs in the league.

It’s really quite simple, no one wants to bother dealing with the non sense. And he’s not gifted enough for teams to look past it.

None of them act like him. Worse, his own father, an ex-NFL player, did not have sense enough, or the ability, to advise him how to act as a young man hoping to be employed as an NFL player.

If Dad couldn’t, what GM and/or head coach would think they could? Some guys drafted cried when they were selected. They were truly appreciative of the opportunity they were being afforded. Those are genuine young men showing humility. Hopefully Sheduer was watching them.
