Would have rather had Donovan Edwards or Raheim Sanders. I don't think Mafah has the quickness...reminds me of another big RB they tried with Bo Scarborough
You still like Sanders? I would have thought that after seeing how much he declined you wouldn't rep him.Prediction:
By the end of the year, the RB committee will primarily be him and Miles splitting carries. He’s a machine
How much of that was Carolina? He’s an experienced back who can do a myriad of things for you; I think the coaching staff will appreciate himYou still like Sanders? I would have thought that after seeing how much he declined you wouldn't rep him.
It could have been a scheme thing with Miles Sanders in Carolina. Chubba Hubbard fits what they do there better. How much of that was Carolina? He’s an experienced back who can do a myriad of things for you; I think the coaching staff will appreciate him
Javonte I think may not make it out of camp
Javonte hasn’t been close to the same player since his injury. Last two years he’s a 3.5ypc guy, it won’t take a lot for Mafah to supplant himIt could have been a scheme thing with Miles Sanders in Carolina. Chubba Hubbard fits what they do there better.
Having said that, the Cowboys love to keep their draft picks and with Javonte Williams, Jaydon Blue, and Phil Mafah it will be hard for Sanders to stick. Especially since he doesn't play special teams.
I am just hoping either Sanders or Williams work out so they can use Blue properly, but I agree!Javonte hasn’t been close to the same player since his injury. Last two years he’s a 3.5ypc guy, it won’t take a lot for Mafah to supplant him
I think this will be your best day 3 pick in awhile
Yep. Sean Payton isn't my favorite but he knows what he's doing. He didn't dump Williams for no reason.I think some of you are underestimating how truly washed up Javonte Williams is.
Mafah has a great chance to beat him out in camp.
No. He has plenty. He's deceptive with his speed. Not a fan of this pick, he lacks explosiveness and lateral movement.
Wish they would have doubled dipped after the Blue pick instead of trading up for a practice squad LB.
He does and can . He's a machine.Hey if this guy can punch it in the end zone, then I’m fine with the pick.
I got nothing but love for Aubrey, but like TDs a lot more.
I wonder if he have seen the last of Hunter Luepke.
BS was very complimentary of Luepke in his PCs last year, so I'm sure he has a role for him.I think Hunter still has a role in this offense . I would think ball on the two the new Clemson battering Ram should get a shot at bringing home the bacon . With his size on passing downs he can pass protect Dak . I’m glad two backs were drafted i expect both to contribute heavily .
