Diggs is on Jerry's crap list

  • Diggs is a guy that's naturally talented, but when you look at him I've always said he doesn't strike me as a guy that works on his body at all. I think that probably carries over to his rehab.
  • 44 for Pickens is too steep if true. At 77 (or whatever our 3rd rounder was) would have been palatable. Pickens is an absolute nutjob but incredibly talented.
  • Love is not better than Pollard. Faster? Sure. Not better. Broaduss is just trying to be spicy.
Usually when Broadus says something like this, he isn’t comparing players today. He’s saying Blue was a better RB when drafted for his rookie year than Pollard was his rookie year. I think that’s probably true.

Everything time linked for your convenience.

Diggs may be playing his last year in Dallas.

A couple other nuggets.

The Steelers wanted pick 44 for George Pickens and Broaddus thinks the Cowboys should have done it.

Broaddus thinks Jaydon Blue is better than Tony Pollard.

LOL trading 44 for Pickens would have been sooooooo Cowboys. Broaddus is a moron.

Pollard was really freaking fast, but he was also 210 lbs. He's now lost a step from his early days, but he's still a 1000 yard rusher in Tennessee because he's got some power.

Blue's 20 lbs smaller than Pollard. He's even faster than peak Pollard, but not when you adjust for his size.

Pollard also worked really hard and learned to become an excellent pass blocker, after being a zero there coming out of college. Blue is TBD there.
Pollard had elite vision too, which is an underated RB trait.

I think Blue will at least be as good as Pollard, if not better...

If Detroit can't afford to sign him to a market value contract extension, they would take a 3rd for him in a heartbeat. Pittsburgh would take a 4th for Pickens at this point. They don't even have a QB to get him the ball and they can't afford him and DK. These are the kind of deals a proactive team looks to make. Thats not us.
Then when he gets here and acts a fool, you'll say that's the type a player a unserious team likes to overpay for

You win both ways! Nice set up you got for yourself

This guy is always right

What I saw in Pollard was contact balance. He wouldn't pound through guys but tacklers would just slide and bounce off of him.
Pollard was one of many players wasted here.
We sent him deep once for a 60 yard TD. And then never again. On a team that needed deep threats. This was the obvious thing to do with Pollard from the beginning. Speed, height, and he can track a ball. This was from camp. There was that video of him just blowing by Jaylon after Jaylon had gotten his straight ahead speed back. Sending Pollard deep not only works, but it puts pressure on your defensive personnel packages. Run or pass personnel to match up with Pollard? How many LBs had a prayer of keeping up with Pollard?
We're the worst.

Diggs isn't even going to play, he should be released.
We still need the depth at the position so it would be foolish to release him especially with all the injuries we keep having. We have to see how it plays out with Diggs this summer.

I bet the Diggs cut is big conspiracy voodoo magic. Parsons loves Diggs, and Parsons runs the team right now. I doubt they just cut him to save some money. However, if Revel Jr. is healthy and looks really good early on, well yeah then maybe it happens. When healthy, I think Diggs is still really good fwiw, definitely a guy I want out there in the playoffs if Dallas makes a push.

What play has diggs ever made late in the year against a good qb? He does nothing in the playoffs
