Sheduer dropping like a lead weight

I told you why... helicopter dad, narcissism, flamboyancy, lack of humility (not my words but I agree), over-inflated talent, entitlement, Deion's ego and meddling, etcetera. You just don't want to hear it. I can't help that.

Have you ever played on a team where there's that one guy all about himself and so is his dad? I mean, this is easy for a lot of people because it doesn't work well. That's why he "fell."

Media was enamored with the name Sanders. Nothing to see here. But I guess it makes for a good story.

Maybe Shedeur and his posse can make a YouTube about it.
He's not a 5th round QB...he got flexed on over his personality

If he was a criminal, maybe

You're side stepping talking about how tonnes of trash qbs have gone way higher in many past drafts...but this time it was different

It's a lame flex with lame excuses for it.

It's his non-criminal persona

I followed him through college. Was interesting at first. Then I just found the whole Sanders schtick off-putting. Turns out, I wasn't the only one.

Of the three, I like Shilo the most. But anyway...His personality is a big part of the equation.

Cleveland took him in round 5. Sounds about right, all things considered.

Sounds about right until you remember Baker and Johnny Manziel were first rounders and no one cared about their attitude.

And I was one of the ones who just doesn’t see it with Shedeur. I see a high floor low ceiling guy. So falling to the 2nd and having a Derek Carr or Andy Dalton type career? I’d take it. I feel most teams would take that quarterback on a rookie deal. 5th round after guys like Dillion Gabriel is nuts and I’m afraid this might be it for Shedeur. I just don’t know how you showcase anything with 3 quarterbacks in front of you and no practice reps or preseason reps. He’s gonna literally pray for injury like Dak or I guess even worse like Purdy he’s gonna need a few guys to get hurt.

All the baggage is the biggest part. It's a headache. Those egos are enormous. It impact the product.

I fear it may be the end too, because they're obtuse about the why. They can't see around their egos. And that's a big problem.

Exhibit A: Deion already arranged a meeting with the Browns?

Who does that?

I'll say it again. How they treated the incumbent players at Colorado doesn't help their case. They're whining but that makes them hypocrites.

They did worse things to those poor kids. They had dreams too.

While I don’t totally disagree with you….let me ask you if Caleb Williams conducts himself like Shedeur did does he fall out the first round?
No because Caleb was/is highly talented. As we have seen constantly, top level talent is on a whole other level. Plenty of guys with red flags get drafted high, maybe they drop a few slots but at the end of the day their talent level is just too hard to pass up for these coaches, owners etc. Shedeur while talented was certainly not generational. IMO they overplayed their hand and it started with Deion at the SB saying that Shedeur would not just play for any team, add in the Legendary stuff, giving a speech at the Combine on how if you don’t want to change your franchise don’t pick me. If he was Aikman or Luck or any of the top level decade qb’s it all would have been overlooked.

I personally am always for the brash cocky different from everyone else attitude, but Sheduer’s attitude I found kinda cringe, he doesn’t pull it off that well imo.

I'll add that Shedeur comes off as sort of a dullard. May be different if he was sharp as a tack.

Y

Yeah, but posters are side stepping shedeur produced with low turnovers behind a crap oline....but they don't want to talk about that.

They want to focus on the stupid sacks he took trying to will his team to victory. No way shedeur is taking sacks like that in the NFL and risking a good salary.

No one is talking about his crap oline.

It's lame move the goal posts tactics...it's not about football, it's about his personality now

It's childish
It’s not childish, it’s the real world that everyone of us has had to deal with at some time and place.

Personally I would have taken Milroe over him, the dude is a freak and I’ll take that over plain any day.

I haven't seen enough negative stuff about him to label him a headache.

Everyone is just assuming he's gonna go to his team and make his own locker room rules, won't listen to anyone, etc etc

Just weird reading about a guy being too alpha in football

Yeah Deion did him no favors. He killed that young man’s career before it even started. Gave him terrible advice.

Lavar Ball had to step away for his sons to flourish. You raise them and put them in position to succeed and let them be men. I blame Prime for a lot of this.

He's not even alpha. Just thinks he is..

Yeah, and Shedeur for being too obtuse to see it. That's another problem.

I see the argument for Milroe and Ward. They aren’t as good as Shedeur but with their talent they process a higher ceiling. But Shedeur represents a higher floor. I don’t know what his work ethic is like but he has the physical tools to play in this league.

I can’t say that though because it’s his dad. He listened to his dad’s advice and it got him to being projected as a first round pick. That’s where it should’ve ended.

The combine was the time to show everyone they were wrong and instead acted like he was Lamar Jackson which I think he did say he was Lamar and Brady or something along those lines?

But he allowed his dad to arrange a meeting with the Browns. Still don't see it?

His dad helped him so much he got drafted round 5. Yet, meeting with the Browns....lol

Obtuse. Hopefully, he makes reads quicker on the field or he's toast.

What's left to discuss? Your son was a 5rg round pick..

Yeah he’s not Deion. I think he went to the school of Deion but I think he’s a good humble kid trying to live up to an image his dad created. Which is crazy because Hunter went to that same school and took just enough of Deion to where it’s not off putting but still being himself.

But he allowed his dad to arrange a meeting with the Browns. Still don't see it?
Yeah adult me sees that not had. Does 22 year old me see that? I don’t think so.

Shedeur is a good prospect but he’s not good enough to act like he was and that was Prime’s job to tell him. Not only as his dad but as his coach.

Agreed on the higher floor but I rather bet on the higher ceiling.

Camp will be very interesting for him, I’m not sure if he’s in a good situation or bad. Would love to see Hard Knocks with the Cleveland Browns this year, it would be must watch tv!
