Donovan Ezeiruaku will be a War Daddy

Him
I like this pick a lot. EZ is not only a major talent, he was also elected captain by his Boston College teammates and his leadership shows up often when you read about him. Sam Williams should be both motivated and worried
Him opposite of Micah will do wonders for him. Micah will get double to triple teamed

I’m really excited about this influx of team captains and leaders. That’s exciting. I think with the last couple years this team hasn’t been too likable due to their personalities. I’m excited to see a change in that. Maybe I’m reading into more than I should but overall I’m just feeling some positivity about the draft and offseason so far.

If he can both rush the passer without also being a run liability he will be an asset.

If you are looking for some inspiration and hope for the upcoming season go to YouTube and look for DE scouting report videos. I never know what we can link or not so I won’t do that here but for those feeling glum give this a try. I watched 4/5 of these videos and it’s the formation of some hope. The guy is as polished a pass rusher as you’ll see. Bull Rush, dip and rip, hand fighting, getting small and firing through gaps, the ankle flex, the leverage. Man it’s impressive. I also learned that he is a TFL machine. Much better against the run than you would think. Great character guy. . despite being double teamed. Imagine what he will do with 11 on the other side. A GREAT pick at 44.
So if you have the Cowboys Blues go dig around this guy’s scouting videos.
Yeah, this dude could very well be special. His technique is great and on top of that he's savvy at using that technique. Very versatile pass rusher. To me, he reminds me a lot of Kearse.

Could be a great duo, and make Parsons even better.

I want to add this because I don't want to start another thread. Jay Toia has a higher ceiling than many realize. He reminds me of that DT from San Fran back when they were kicking our teeth in the past few years. I feel like he could end up being better than Mazi. His technique is silly sneaky and he's got quick instincts. I also think he has position flex.

Talk about a wall on wheels.

Steal of the draft. A top 10 talent. He's going to wreak some havoc with Micah.
Not a single person evaluated him as a top 10 talent.

25-30 though....feom the problem draft media/draft/sites, but obviously the actual NFL evaluators didn't see him as a 1st rounder (ot else they would have taken him)

Like him though

Maybe he can teach some things to Sam, as to the metal aspect of the game as well. Along with the influence of Eberflus.

He's going to be a very stable producing player. At least there is now someone to fill in when Micah is gassed and hobbled.
Going to be like Tony Tolbert and Ware. Combination of them. Very steady Eddie, someone the opposing team has to plan for every down.

They do not have to be a top 10 talent to be considered a steal.
After all, a top 10 talent is expected to produce.

I like the pick, he was ranked higher, and they actually did get value for once. With a 2nd round pick.

Seems many fans on here hate Micah. They always need a few whipping players to whine about.
Shows how little they actually know about football.
Speaking only for myself, Micah has me behaving like I'm bipolar. It's because of several things he does or doesn't do. It's some of the stupid crap he says (as if he's arrived and rose to championship level), it's the vanishing act against teams when we need him most, it's the podcast, it's the branding(Which if he actually showed up in big games, I'd accept it, but he hasn't). So it's a love hate deal. We all wanna see him grow into what he can be, but it seems he has too many irons in the fire, thus can't get out of his own way. He's his own impediment. That's frustrating as a fan. He can't see it. Even more frustrating. This is where I wouldn't be mad if he was traded. But right now, he's here and I'm pulling for him.

Yes sir, all the scouting reports I've seen have mentioned his advanced tool box. He's already a technician, and he will likely only get stronger and better.

No problem whatsoever with the player but that "war daddy" moniker is played out and now just sounds as creepy as hotboyz
