Ranking the NFC East

I am just saying Washington could very easily have been 8-9 last season.
They also could very easily have been 14-3 and won the division.

- They were ahead against the Steelers very late in the 4th, then when Pitt went up by one point Washington had a questionable spot of the football on 4th down end a possible game-winning drive at the Steeler’s 40 yard line.

- They missed an extra point with seconds left in the game against Dallas that would have sent the game into OT.

Had they not been “unlucky” (heh lol) the Commanders would have beaten out the Eagles on tiebreakers and won the division.

That’s the thing about “luck” in the NFL…It goes both ways.

you're arguing the opposite of what anyone is saying (and poorly). Just because other factors can and do come into play doesn't mean that "culture" doesn't exist. Sure, maybe Jayden Daniels wouldve won them a bunch of games regardless, I'll give you that, but not only did they not "didn't do anything different" they did EVERYTHING different, top to bottom. If you want to argue that that's meaningless in the grand scheme, knock yourself out, but denying it happened isn't going to work. I don't think that Wash is a model franchise to emulate, and haven't seen much of that said by others either. But they've changed the culture 100% and dividends are dividends so we can attribute it to the factors we like.
and there we have it. Thank you for making my point. Culture is absolutely subjective. Jimmy Johnson won, but his culture would not have been tolerated for a second with Tom Landry.

Here it is in a nutshel.

Jimmy said if a special teamer fell asleep in a team meeting, hed cut that guy that day. Culture, right? Discipline... CULTURE of holding people accountable.

Then in his next sentence, he said if Emmitt Smith fell asleep at a team meeting he would stand up in the room and yell out to everyone.... NAP TIME!

Eagles lost 2 of their best DT's and will be playing a first place schedule ... 15-2 seems pretty far fetched.
Those DTs were good because Jalen Carter was double and triple-teamed all year..They drafted the most athletic DT in the fourth round.

of course it's subjective. and it exists and has had tangible success at times. other times it hasn't or some other team did it differently is irrelevant. all good.
