This 2025 Team will go to the NFC championship game.

They are going to come from the very back that everyone says we’re gonna be last and just about anything and everything in here, keep telling me that we’re going to be worse than last year that they did nothing to improve and we lost more players and we put back.

They will be that long shot horse and are going to come around the final stretch and will at least make the NFC championship game this year.

I was Cowboys will be the shock of this NFL season, just like Washington was last year, just like we’ve seen the Jets ,we seen one time the Jaguars did it , they are coming.

Coaching staffs gonna be the best teachers schemers, play collars and game planners we’ve had in a decade they’re gonna take an average team and take them to the championship game!

This is my crazy prediction.

the way I see it if the San Francisco 49ers can make a Super Bowl with Kaepernick and they made another Super Bowl with Garoppolo and a three headed committee at running back. You know the running back by committee. Everybody seems to be against here, but Christian McCaffrey didn’t help their cause. I mean they did the same thing without him They’ve done it before without one back that’s great.

The only disclaimer I’m putting on it if we’re riddled with injury like last year and lost too many key players, I Reserve the right to take it back , but if we have a healthy season, at least relatively normal season of injuries for the NFL ,nothing crazy ,

This pretty much invalidates the whole post as you'll fall back on the injury excuse regardless. Injury risk is a major reason why some are down on the Cowboys to begin with. You have a QB coming off a hamstring issue which are at an elevated risk of reinjury. Its only May and two starters in Overshown and Diggs are likely to start on the PUP. Your 3rd round CB is dicey about being ready for the opener. The best player on the team Micah Parsons gets banged up every year. I would say that the Cowboys should anticipate fairly high injury numbers once again just based on the structure of their roster.

Several teams suffered more injuries than the Cowboys last year, a few of them playoff teams.

Dallas plays a very difficult schedule. They play 6 games that I believe they will be favored, NYG twice, Carolina, Arizona, Las Vegas, and NYJ.

If Dallas sweeps these games they only have to go 4-7 with the rest of the schedule to win 10 games.

Inside the division Dallas goes 1-3 or 2-2 versus Philadelphia and Washington. They play GB and Minnesota at home, I think they win one. I think Dallas can beat LAC at home. Right there is three to four wins.

I believe Dallas can beat Denver on the road.

I believe Dallas has a ceiling of 11-6 and a floor of 9-8. Dallas will be in the hunt for a playoff spot.

If they do make the playoffs they will be more battle tested than past years. I feel if they make the playoffs this season we have a better chance to advance in the playoffs.

I feel the three 12 win seasons were a little smoke and mirrors. A little deceiving. This season every division game is going to be a challenge and then we got the rest of the schedule. Going 9-8 may mean we are a better team this season than the 12 win teams IMO.

Our bargain basement shopping vs WFT? Ekler, Luvu, Mariota, Armstrong, Wagner, Ertz, Tyler B, Chinn...others. You can't compare what we did to this sadly, but they also had the cap space to do so where we well.....

The Reds drive me nuts. Just came off a good streak, but the bullpen has been awful, the offense is inconsistent but the starters look promising. Greene is the guy though

And 9-8 may get you into the playoffs. If they do indeed put out there a physical, productive running game one that can consistently get you 2 or 3 first downs in a row when you need it, that will pay off late in the season.

Obviously no one would predict going to the championship game without your starting QB. Who is injured matters. Predictions are made based on the players starting, not the ones on the bench.

Key injuries is more important than injuries.

I dont completely disagree, but thats kinda the point. If someone is giving themselves an out due to injury then they can fall back on that pretty much whenever as we can look at it from a standpoint of total number of injuries, specific injuries to key players, key positions, multiple injuries to one position, etc. Every single team in the league is going to face some injury adversity. Really good teams like Philly and SF are making super bowl/NFCCG runs with backup QBs. I know both those are extreme examples but both have happened within the last decade, and really good complete teams can make it happen.

With the Cowboys I think its just part of the equation in picking them. At full health I would agree that they are talented enough to win some games this year, but they are also a high risk injury team going into the year. Its just like when Jerry signs injured players to contract extensions or uses early picks on them. Its not simply bad luck if they dont work out, he knows the risk going into it.

well I love your optimism... cant say I agree about conference game, but anyone that says we didn't do anything to improve and that we are worse than last year is just nuts and need their misery to keep them warm. The draft was right on as far as where to hit, with the exception of WR but I would of picked the first 3 draft picks 20 times over any other options and unfortunately there were no WRs after them worth anything so we will have to address it in another way.

My thinking is so far with all the moves, it is a stepping stone, but it is going to take more than one year to fix this mess, and that is assuming Jerry allows it to be fixed.
