The NFL fines the pranksters Dad and team

Unlike most, I usually agree with you more often than not. But not here. I would be ok with the Falcons fining the coach. They can set any standards they want. But the league fining the team? The kid was an adult.
To me the joke was tasteless but even worse the coach allowed his child to obtain information that wasn’t for his eyes to see. For that alone he needed to be penalized.

Not sure what this has to do with anything? That’s even worse lol. If he was 8 years old
I’d give him the pass. But for his son to be an adult is even more stupid.

I am all for accountability believe me on that but that fine is outrageous.
The guy hit with the fine makes 1.6 million a year. HE is the one that allowed his son to have access to that information.

Do you think he would be more ok with being fired and not being able to make that kind of money?

BINGO!

My son is 20, serving in the military, doesn't cost me a dime now as a parent, and more importantly heeded my advice as a father growing up in not doing anything very stupid (or at worst, don't get caught because ANY teenager is going to do something stupid, even I did). One thing my boy hasn't learned (perhaps he will now after his last break up with his old girlfriend) is that you never marry a woman who is going to cost you an arm an a leg unless you can afford her. Being he's a E3 and into his car, he needs to learn he can't afford certain types of girls right now LOL

That said, the reason why the father is partially to blame is because he trusted his son to use good judgement. The son got the number from his fathers job. Given that the college where this young man attends costs 43K a year and he probably doesn't have a free ride for playing football, I'm just wondering if mommy and daddy will still foot the tuition bill?
