The Pickens trade makes me like our draft even more

Yes I would have loved to have a big nasty on defense and specifically in the middle, but Booker has completely won me over and I like what he can do for the run game, and to protect from the dts in our division. My biggest concern though was that with a one dimensional passing game running would prove extremely difficult. Also as much as I've drank the koolaid on Blue, I have been worried about his impact for similar reasons. But with GP in tow, I really like how our pick your poison offense is fleshing out. Imagining blue, turpin, lamb and pickens all lined up is really giving me heart palpitations.

Would still love to take a flier on Chubb as well, but honestly with all of our holes heading into the draft, this is honestly nearly a dream scenario imo.
 
Pickens and Lamb combo opened up a lot of the offense now. If Blue can be that RB we all been wanting this can be a very good offense.

This has been a very good off season, though many do not like it. But they usually do not like anything.

Consider the trades they made as part of the draft. Trading for 3 players, and now a 4th. And losing a few that needed to go anyway. They are at least as good as those 12-5 teams when healthy. Not saying they will go 12-5 again. But the should be in the running for a playoff spot, or very close to it.

Just like I thought was going to happen this coaching staff has made Ol Jerry a believer and as a result he is building this team to win now.This is interesting.

I agree, would love to add Chubb. Ferguson has to return to form and the Tackles have to play better to make this offense legit! Moves so far, have really turned this unit more explosive and physical! I wonder if Hall from the Jets was that other trade they were discussing.
