Did We Move the Proverbial Needle this Off-season?

In hindsight, I think they did better this offseason than in previous year's.

They had a good draft and, while not flashy, their free agent signings were not bad.

Enough to move the needle... really depends on the OL lifting, stopping the run (at least better than last year) and improving their red zone game.

I think they'll be better than last year

I think we pass Washington this year. They had five last minute wins with luck on their side. We should have swept them last year. I wouldn't be shocked if we swept the Commies and Giants but got swept by the Eagles.
They had Daniels on their side. Maybe if he gets hurt we can pass Wash.

They moved the needle. Deal with it and quit your whining.

So what has the needle moved to? SB winners? NFC Championship? 1 and done in the playoffs? Not making the playoffs? I have said I think they will be better, even win the NFC East but that is about as far as our QB can take us, regardless of who is playing WR. So is that really moving the needle? To Me it's not. We weren't contenders before the Pickins trade, and we still aren't contender with the trade and it has nothing to do with the player acquired.

Agreed Vegas has them as #10 to win the conference.....which is obviously not great. They were #12 or #13 before the trade I think.

I believe they did! The draft wasn’t exciting at first blush but looking at it now after they acquired Pickens, they addressed most of the glaring needs. 3rd round pick CB Shavon Revel along with 5th Round pick RB Jaydon Blue could potentially be a couple of the biggest steals in the draft! If the O-Line gets going this season, the RB’s they have are plenty good to get the job done!

I'm starting to believe this team can be much better than many of us thought. Of course, it will take talent, hard work, good coaching and luck against injuries.
