Does Phil Mafah give King Henry vibes?

advanced? how? Dorsett is a Heisman trophy winning RB who is also in HOF . Blue hasn't even played a single down of football. he was a 5th round pick.

geez dude. where are you coming up with all this stuff. an advanced version of Dorsett!!! WOW. just WOW.
p.s.
are you nipping at the bottle a little early tonight? just wondering where you are comin gup with this crazy stuff

Risen is quite known for it bro, lol.

Sorry. Mafah does not have Derrick Henry’s speed. He’s a big guy who will be fun to watch in TC and PS games. But expecting him to be the next Derrick Henry is a huge stretch.

The thing you have to be careful with about college film highlights is there are often plays shown against guys who would never be close to NFL caliber players. Not knocking Mafah, but he was a 7th round pick for several reasons.
Just curious, what pick was Jordan Mason? Actually he was undrafted.

It might be a strange concept to us Cowboys fans, but if you make holes, RB's can run through them.

There is a reason why just about every running back ran for 5.0 yards a carry in SF, and believe it or not CMC had the lowest YPC, and he was supposed to be the best.

...I didnt realize how big he is, until seeing some college clips. Reminds me of King Henry in younger suit.

I really like RB Phil Mafah. Anticipating watching our young stud RB duo of Phil Mafah (Thunder) and Jaydon Blue (Lightning) is going to be awesome to watch for our offense starting in 2025. Can't wait!

I fell for it. ;)

but then again, people comparing Mafa to Henry. there are those who say we are now a championship team because our moves put us at the top while other teams moves were meh and won't work out. getting Murray, Milton, and drafting Toia just puts us over the top!@!!

the board has gone insane.

He reminds me a little bit of Rodney Hampton - with that straight kick out straight up stance running.
That’s a blast from the past (Rodney Hampton) and a really good call. I can see that too.

I also see a little of Leonard Fournette when he runs.

We can talk about this when you're being more reasonable.

Phil Mafah isn't a "shake and bake" type who is likely to impress one and all with his movement. He's far more likely to make impressions with his straight-ahead power and punishing style than anything else. He'll break tackles as a standard that he relies upon. Strong is surely what he is and that's most likely how he'll make the biggest impression on his opposition.

He'll routinely break more than his share of tackles once he gets past the initial wave of the opposition. Defenders will be seriously challenged to put him on the ground. He's mainly a power back and that's his main calling card. His excelleration isn't explosive but yet, he's still difficult to contain.
