Prescott on George Pickens

I and everyone see what youre trying to do. Let me ask this, typically in a season how many "bomb balls" 30+ yards are attempted by all QBs? What is the completion percentage of those? It's a useless stat because you'll just sitch it and say well okay how about 40 yard bombs or 79 yard bombs.

I said make sure you keep 2023 and really his whole career on this radar machine you think so highly of. You can't even be intellectually honest.

You picked a number that represents 1-2% of all passes thrown in an average year, and then try to diminish Dak without providing concrete evidence other than you saw.

It is widely accepted that deep balls are 20+ yards in the air, yanno cause a 30+ yard in the air could start 24.67 yards behind line of scrimmage and only net 5.33 yards.

Making up strawmen and playing Don Quixote at it seems to be what you want to do though.
Bro, just say you saw my statement, ignored it, then tried to shoehorn already prepared stats that didn't describe what I stated. You might look better than this emotional display.

Huh? You responded to my post with an inaccurate account of what I posted and start yappin about pulling stuff our of my rear? Man get lost.
That makes 2 times in this thread by two different pairs. What are the chances in any place other than CowboysZone? Lol.

This not a bomb ball?

A lot of them go down like this one though. This one could have turned the tide and was perfectly set up. Dak has zero pressure (no one around for 7+ yards) and still airmails Cooks. At least pull the string to ensure the long completion, even if Cooks gets tackled. That took all the wind out of our sails.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on @dfwticket on WR George Pickens: "We've connected. I'm excited. You turn on the tape, you see a guy that can catch the football. You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands. More than a 50/50 catcher. He thinks it's his ball when it's in the air. I'm excited for him. I know we needed some help at that position. ... It's hard to double team two guys. ... I think we're putting together a nice group of weapons."

Get ready George,Mr low, high, wide but never in stride is coming and get ready for those suicide balls he loves to throw..lol

Dak's excited. They got another WR that may help bail him out of "failing miserably" when the lights get "truly" bright.

Yeah, but the problem is that ‘you turn on the tape a you dont see a guy that can throw the ball accurately’

This can get ugly by November

Ugly like that? People think stockpiling receivers is some W. We need to be stockpiling oline and elite coaching that can get through to dak to stop throwing stupid passes like that.

This post is about the Cowboys, not the 49'ers. Don't try that tactic to dismiss blame for Dak.

Huh? Are you ********? You need help with reading comprehension? I'm blaming Dak for the pass. You can add yourself to the list of people who aren't worth another response from.

Absolutely. I never said Dak doesn't connect on them, I said for the numbers I ran last season, he had the worst completion rate among top QBs who also connected on them. He's just not good at that.
I'd be interested to see what % of his deep completions came on rollout vs. being in the pocket. Because with that peg leg he will be dragging out there this year, I don't see him getting many opportunities on rollouts or sandlot plays

By that logic, In 2023 Ryan Tannehill got more out of DeAndre Hopkins than Mahomes did last year so Mahomes is inferior, Lol

Amari and DHop were both washed last year
That’s fitting to say now but I remember everyone slobbing up Allen talking about oh he gets to play with a real qb now….now it’s he’s washed lol.
