But you are right... the offseason means nothing if you dont play well.

Then define a bad off season.

Name a team or GM that right now is telling their fans that they've blown it and really dont like what they've done so far.

If every team got better, especially teams in your own division, does it matter?

Missing more than half the season is a lot. They had a tremendous amount of good players that missed a lot of games.

You might notice that this year is just a little bit different with the new coaching staff and player acquisitions. They very well may have acquired the best player available in the entire league in George Pickens.

So Dak didn't play last year? He wasn't part of the team that started the season 3-5 while he led the league in interceptions and turnovers? Asking for a friend, because if you say he didn't, I am questioning who is embarrassing themselves. We actually had a better record with a QB who is part of the Ravens this year.

I mean that is even the part of the season you were around for.

Maybe, and that’s probably part of it, but I also believe they aren’t great at evaluating things football, and see it through rose-colored glasses like fans do and actually believe that they are much better than they really are.

They count on way too many things going right. That’s rare, and even when it does, like when Philly collapsed and handed them the two seed in 23, they still find a way to blow it.
