Go get help.Get a room
I like this but I've been told I'm a "hater".Oh boy, the haters will not like this.
The more films I see like this, the more I love this trade.
Great job Dallas.
This may be his best attribute. He doesn't get a ton of separation so he relies on that and his push-off is legendary. He adjusts to the football as good as Dez.
It's rare, will be a critical factor.
True.Dez's numbers tanked under Dak. Dak doesn't like to throw a contested ball. He needs separation.
Very true, brother @shabazz .This may be his best attribute. He doesn't get a ton of separation so he relies on that and his push-off is legendary.
My only concern is that the push-off will be called on him early and often because he'll be wearing the Star and not Steeler yellow and black....just watch for it
This isnt true ...........Dez numbers tanked coz he was a poor route runner. Romo knew how to throw Dez open. Dak expects his WRs to run correct routes or "be where they're supposed to be".Dez's numbers tanked under Dak. Dak doesn't like to throw a contested ball. He needs separation.
No QB/WRs going to make a living off 55/550 balls ..........way too risky.Dez's numbers tanked under Dak. Dak doesn't like to throw a contested ball. He needs separation.
I think the best Mendoza line of the dynamic is the Cooks trade. With what you paid him each year, was his production worth giving up the 5th rounder and the cap space? Maybe a mediocre trade overall, but you could argue his presence in the offensive system opened up things that weren’t there before. Dak had a big season in 2023; it’s probably not nearly as big without Cooks even if he didn’t contribute substantially to it.No QB/WRs going to make a living off 55/550 balls ..........way too risky.
You really don't see it, do you? That's how psychology operates though.Oh boy, the haters will not like this.
The problem is, Dak will be fighting his inherent instinct to be overly cautious. Best case scenario is he will override that instinct and chuck it, but there will always be a conscious element to that decision making so he will always be a tick late and a yard off.Dak needs to practice on trusting making throws towards Pickens when Pickens looks covered.
We need Kitna back in his ear to tell him to "let it rip"!!The problem is, Dak will be fighting his inherent instinct to be overly cautious. The bigger the moment, the more pronounced this will be.
Different movie, same ending.

This is why Eli was ...."successful". He would heave it up...and he had a couple receivers that would flat our hunt it down and often make unbelievable catches. We need Kitna back in his ear to tell him to "let it rip"!!
That would be awesome...to get the TE into a "regular" part of our passing game...instead of the 1-2 surprise plays. This duo could very well free up our TE.
