Bigger Role for Bell?

If you really and truly like Quinn, you'd want him out of Dallas where he will be allowed to instill the culture he wants and where an owner doesn't meddle in his roster needs and lower coach selections.

If one loves something, they set it free from Jerry where it can be its very best.
Let’s don’t do that….because nobody would hire McCarthy and no one was gonna hire Quinn until
They saw what he did with our defense.

.... I would try him at safety. KInda small body for LB. Besides he has speed to cover field.
He is perfect for strong safety he has enough speed and he is a good tackler, but in certain situations he can play some LB safety hybrid.I could see him used as a player to key on a running QB or to cover a TE or RB in a 3 3 5 formation.

Quinn's defense was good at take aways and pressuring the QB but the way to beat his scheme is to run right at the smaller of the 2 defensive ends .Teams started running right at Parsons ,this eliminated him as a pass rusher and Dallas could not stop the run with 2 offensive lineman and a running back running at the 250 LB DE.Sometimes you are forced to change up and put 2 bigger bodies at DE and move Parsons to LB and rush the passer from the LB spot or use a safety or a corner to blitz. You can't stay in the same formation and allow your team to get beat by the run.

Does Bell still have the speed? I definitely like him in run support. Pretty sure Thomas is healthy. I like him in coverage. I just figured Bell would be back too. We play cover 3 too so we'll have some safeties on the field.
I have heard Cavenaugh and Broaddus talk about Juanyeh Thomas possibly playing some nickel corner in Matt Eberflus scheme.

Always helps when you have #2 pick and land the next fran tarkington. Their D still can't stop the run just like we couldn't.
