Cee Dee on Pickens: We are both 1s

CeeDee is listed at 6’2” and said he’s grown a half inch since he was drafted but Pickens looks all of 2 inches taller in that video and is listed at 6’3”.

Nah he should've just told Pickens to speak on it. As a leader of the wr room it's disrespectful to the other wrs. Just like them begging for O'Dell in public. It's corny. I think fans lack the ability to put themselves in situations. If you were Tolbert or Mingo or in the past Noah brown or whoever you'd feel a certain way about your "leader"
Nah, George was a WR1 in Pittsburgh, so why downgrade him because he came to Dallas? I believe CeeDee was squashing the question because he knows how Dallas media is. As far as, Tolbert and the other WRs, the media, fans, and organization has all "disrespected" them entire offseason saying Dallas needed a WR2 ad nauseum for months.

Lamb is officially 6015 and Pickens is 6032, so that is almost 2”. But, they round up Lamb and keep Pickens at 6’3”

CeeDee said last season that he grew a half inch and measured 6’2 1/2.

Dog eat dog world. Them dudes are nowhere near the talent level as them dudes.

What I like about this is how they both compliment each other. They both open up the traits of the other that makes the other strong. Lamb's short game helps Pickens down field. Pickens ability down field helps Lamb. It all helps Dak, Tolbert, TEs, and the run game.

I'm still surprised they didn't draft Warren then go land Pickens. But I like what they did this draft.

Actually, leaders aren't usually appreciated until after they have led to victory. That's when they are referred to as "charismatic", "inspirational" and "motivational"

Until then, they are typically unappreciated and quite often resented.

Why? Because, by their standards, they force their teammates to give more than what they were originally willing to give. They force others to raise their standards simply by comparison.

Feel a certain way about what? If you are a real competitor you take that as a challenge and step your game up. You can’t be mentally weak in the NFL because things happen. Injuries, hold outs…..

We are going to witness a competitive level from the WR squad that we have not seen for a very long time. It will be nothing but fantastic for the entire team.

I'm sure the other WRs are going to be inspired by the silent battle between Lamb and Pickens.

A player does not get to their level of success without the desire to show the world that you are the very best. That is what competitive sports is all about. it starts with being the best on your own team

Neither Lamb nor Pickens will admit this to the media. They won't admit it to each other. They may not even admit it to themselves.

However, they are both driven to similar goals.

This is probably the real reason for Pickens issues with the Steelers. I believe he verbalized and demonstrated his frustration with their offense and the inability to showcase the potential he believes he has.

Pickens may become an issue but only if the Cowboys offense sputters and he is denied opportunity.

Can anyone show me a championship team with a player who openly said they needed help at a position? Since apparently it's so common and they should just step their game up. Just 1 not 10

If you have to say that you are a #1 does it really mean anything? It's like a guy standing there and saying that he wears the pants in his family, does anyone believe that his wife isn't the one holding his cojones in her purse?
it’s actually more akin to the husband saying his wife is an equal contributor and they’re both hard of the household. y’all are so weird

He's counting with shoes if that is his claim. You can't argue with combine measurements.
He never said he was wearing shoes. No point saying he measured a half inch taller than his combine height if he was wearing shoes.
