Does the Tush Push get banned today?

Honestly, it's hilarious how so much time and effort has been wasted trying to ban or save this play. I just read that Jason Kelce was lobbying NFL people to keep the play legal.

Who gives a crap?

So a DT has to take on a T and a G double team, the QBs own push and the additional force of two other players pushing the QB, sooner or later someone is going to get hurt.

Not to mention the big issue which is the play is boring, that shouldn't be discounted.

It's not football, it's never been football and the fact that the Eagles are the ones having the most success with it is irrelevant.

Why is it irrelevant? If only one team is successful at doing, then that's a talent issue for other teams. Im glad they didn't ban it

I just saw it staying so they were two teams short of getting it banned it didn't happen time to move on from the conversation it's no big deal the Eagles are celebrating right now and they're dancing.. :muttley:.

The league could spice up the soap opera by publicly releasing the names of the ten teams who voted for the ban. Kinda like, "Why is this minority group of owners being so mean trying to take away the Eagles' rugby play?"

That would generate a few more clicks for NFL.com. They are so shortsighted.

I believe the vote is today...what's your call?
It shouldn't... it's only a vote subject becuz whiny opposed teams simply cannot stop it.

- Philly created a play that no one has mimic and they can't simply cannot come up with a counter scheme.

-So they have to conjure up a lame excuse to beat it on a legal means ..try to cohere as many owners as possible to influence a good riddance vote to ban it.

- first it was a excuse for fear of injury, even though there was clearly no evidence of injured players, and now the excuse has been rephrase (re-lie ?) as unfairness like a linemen trying help push a carrier into goal line/short yd. situation.

A ban vote is a " Cowardly " way of addressing it,imo.

-Last word opinion from Adam schefter he thinks it will be banned.
And i think the nfl owners will successfully get Tush Push banned.
