Diggs value

He did not start out that way, so I wonder what happened to him?
it was always in him. He showed signs but most fans (including me) got blinded by the picks and ignored the red flags. I know he still has fans and I'm telling those fans that he will never in his cowboy career have a good performance vs a real team in December and beyond. I'll put anything on that.

Then how did he get that big payday? lol
You already know this. INT numbers. Diggs sacrifices coverage for picks, and Jerry never could accurately evaluate a player.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but the year Diggs had all those picks, he gave up the most yards in the game for a CB.

His poor coverage ability was discussed right here on the boards, but was mostly shouted down by the spewers.

Already said, but yeah when you have a skeptical knee and a big contract, you don’t have trade value.

He is worth more to Dallas by keeping him for whatever they get out of him this season than trading him now.

Then either redo his deal or cut him. Don’t go thinking they can keep him and Bland, and also Pickens and Lamb. Not gonna happen.

You can waste your energy and tell me it's not possible, but I think it is...

You can grow out of fear.

Doesn't mean it will happen during his NFL football career, but it's possible he snaps out of it.

Obviously, we would hope asap.

I'm just asking he could grow out of it after a few years of getting use to the hits and learning how and where to tackle to lessen his pain or whatever he fears.

I was just like Diggs in High School....but in practice. I thought four corner drills were incredibly stupid, especially grown men facilitating that action to young kids.

You can argue some weird ideology of separating the men from the boys...but it won't stick with me.

There is rarely four corner action in a real game.

Anyway..Diggs was making business decisions last year before injury. He seemed to be more aggressive but still made them.

I get mixed reviews on here about his overall talent. I know that one year he locked down all 3 top NFL receivers, that shows some ability.

I just don't know if contract, post-injury athleticism and liability to be attacked on the outside with run game in playoffs outweighs his talent.

He seems to be a rare ball hawk when healthy.

I won't waste it. I said what I said and it's the truth. He has nothing in his chest to prove me wrong

Diggs had 14 INT’s his first two seasons and only 6 his last three seasons. He’s had some issues getting burned and he’s had injury issues. He’s regressed since he signed his contract. Some of his INT decline has been due to missed games and not taking as many chances in coverage. He’s got toasted a number of times his first two seasons looking for INT’s.

Honestly his value is basically nothing. He had a serious knee injury. His knee will likely never be 100% what it was and there’s no telling if he will return to prior form.

Fraud. Trade him for ramsey so we can get some real alpha energy in the db room. Diggs is a kitty cat
Miami isn’t about to trade Ramsey for Diggs who’s still rehabbing an injury and might not be ready for the start of the season. There’s no assurances Diggs can even come back to play at a high level after this injury. You’re not making any sense.

Diggs should have been traded after his 7 pick season before the new contract

His value was highest then and we could have got a 1st rd pick for him

I said so repeatedly at that time but the usual CZ homers shot it down

LOL, where are they now?

Same place they will be in 2-3 years when a Micah being paid 37 million per y will be on the sidelines late in the season because he got injured playing DE with s LB body

There was a thread about Diggs talent about 6+ months ago...I asked the same question I did in this thread...I was probing for his talent ability hoping to get some level headed answers...

Seems like there were a few posters willing to discuss his talent...how good their knowledge was/is...I don't know...

But seemed like the discussion came down to, when eliminating the hate for his business decisions, was that he was good...he just needed to work on a little technique and eliminate some of the biting on fakes that could lead to chunk yards.

Sure, his contract is high now and he has had some injuries...im more concerned with his ability to guard a WR when healthy...not his tackling.

Actually, the old thread about Diggs said he was really good at guarding deep downfield.

No trade value at the moment. He very likely wont have enough time to prove himself before the 2025 trade deadline passes November 5th. So this basically becomes a question of Dallas cutting him after the 2025 season or not...
