The thing is this FO just can’t put a championship team together. And having a FA or 4th round quarterback needs just that to go deep in the playoffs. If Jerry & Sons don’t invest draft capital in the next quarterback, this team is stuck in neutral with their current team building process.

Lets be fair, 2023 was a decent team (well until the morning of the Packers game).

This isn't a Championship, its a 'prove it year' (Offense and maybe Dak). If the Offense clicks, we may make the push in 2026, with an extended Pickens, and strengthen the Defense (but we dont know what Dak's got left). If the Offense fails it may be time to say 'we arent winning it with Dak'.

I agree with you that Dak is relentlessly crapped on. And he's always in my mind been a good franchise QB. Somewhere in the second tier of top QBs. Dallas can absolutely win a ring with him. Yes he's better than hurts.... Dak and Goff have always been in that same tier, Dak being more athletic

He's not Mahomes or Allen bro.

Mahomes last year helped a team with no Hollywood, no Rice, an aging Kelce and meh oline to 15 wins and the super bowl. He's been to 5 Superbowls bro.... He could retire today and be one of the top 3-4 QBs ever.

Allen led his team to within minutes of the super bowl, an MVP season and did it with mack hollins as his only wr to stay healthy all year and shakir as his number 1. With no running game he kept KC from going undefeated. If not for mahomes, he already would've been to multiple Superbowls.

I respect Dak but he's not a hof type QB. But we don't need him to be. In many respects he's underrated
