Saw the Cowboys/Packers Dez non catch game on NFL network

LOL clown. Look up what the “spirit of a rule” means. Another term you don’t understand.
I'm going by your buddy gtb's definition in Post #162 since he's the one who brought it up. He said the definition is that they make sure something is a catch. Well, they made double sure using replay and determined it wasn't a catch. What's the problem?

But when you need to resort to using "spirit of the rule" to shoehorn a result you KNOW didn't happen by the plain rules, you're trying out for the boondoggle Olympics in the shallow end of the pool, lol. Accept reality, my friend.

no, Dez played like Dez. Always going for the gold
and virtually every single top WR would do the same
take you claim and stick it where the sun does not shine
He made a dumb *** decision that led to a loss. What I said is absolute fact. You can take a long walk on a short pier you turd eating clown.

Absolutely. It reversed the momentum. We started taking control of the game like we did in all of our victories. After they took the 7-0 lead, they couldn't stop us. We were up 10-7, and if we scored on that drive, I think the Packers were on an uphill battle. The fumble running through that gaping hole changed everything.
Actually we were up 14-10 but one of those TDs was after we got a Rodgers fumble in our own territory. So Green Bay could say the same thing. Also, we held them to a FG after Murray's fumble and would later go up 21-13 and they still more than overcame a potential 21-10 deficit. Murray's fumble was significant but not that significant in the big picture.

forever worshipping the rules instead of the game
BY CHANGING THE RULE THEY ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG
you just cannot admit that your gods the rules are not perfect
If that's the over-rationalizing, shoehorning you need due to the desperation of not admitting coming up short again in a debate you have no place participating in, then have at it.

That’s not a definition. You go by what the term actually means, Mr. I’m going to go by the letter of the rule, but I’m just going to use something I think is a definition when it’s convenient for me.

Again, the fact that you double down and think that the “spirit of the rule”, like the “spirit of the law”, is about “shoehorning” something shows how ridiculously ignorant you are.

You’re the one who claimed the interpretation of rule was also correct according to the spirit of the rule too. It’s not might fault you made an ASSumption about what that term means and ASSumed something wrong.

So you're saying your buddy gtb doesn't know what the hell he's talking about either. We agree.

I know they can say the same thing. But they were the favorites. We needed all the help we could get, and could not afford mistakes. To me, that Murray fumble was the turning point in the game.

really should not insult yourself that way
I am sure you can do better
