Thing is that was a different team than Romo usually had. Loaded. Plus Romo finally healed himself instead of playing hurt. I have given dak credit for that.

A limited rookie did pretty good with that team imagine a healthy veteran Romo.
But...Jerry's new pet...

Romo did better than Jerry thought. Double down Jerry wasn't gonna have that.

Any way you look at it....very odd. And look at how many times Jerry sat dak since.

One of the biggest haters here. I know of at least three. Not just rush but good Cowboys fans too.

We all have our hills to die on. Yours is hating the backup that didn't do as bad as you hoped for.

Well the Ravens wouldn't have picked him up as a backup if he was all that bad. That's usually a smart team that makes good decisions. Rush is what most of us have been saying on here, a good backup qb.

Dak should not be on this team and any other team with a competent GM would have been rid of him by now. But the Cowboys have Jerry so posters like you can claim the Moral Victory of Dak being the Highest and longest tenured QB

I can't explain why the Ravens did what they did. Not for that money anyway. I'd rather have Milton honestly....

But let's go with your description he's good backup which I mean i'd agree. Probably what? A top 40 or 50 quarterback? The conversation is not what these guys were doing. They were saying things like he made Dak expendable and we won games because of him. And if you don't agree with those claims you are a "hater".

He's NOT an all-pro. He's a runner-up for the all-pro team. 2nd team all-pro...from nearly 2 years ago. And Aaron Rodgers WAS an MVP QB. Is he that after the achillees? Dak after the torn hamstring just trying to overachieve and throw accurately? No.

First team
Second team

First team means you were the best player at your position

Second team means you were the second best player at that position.

I do. Dak had roughly 2,000 (1,978) passing yards last year when he suffered the season-ending hamstring injury halfway through the season. I do believe Dak would have easily passed for 4k+ yards last year had he not gotten injured.
