Mina has Dak 8

Coming off the worst year of his career and some people still see him as #8......

I'm not sure who I should trust here....... objective NFL people or his haters here..... HMH

And yes, he's gonna bounce back this year and get into the Top 5 conversation again

I don't like rankings and I don't have a problem with the ranking number 8 and I wasn't going to listen to that whole thing but having Herbert ahead of Prescott and I get it he might be on a better team with a better coach we don't know that yet but he has done nothing in the nfl to deserve to be ahead of Prescott right now but that's ok I don't like the lists and even though I'm comfortable with Prescott being 8 I don't like who they pick on some of those other ones but for sure Herbert no way he's number 6 but it's all opinion and hyperbole and rhetoric in their Explanations to Why, but Herbert does not even deserve to be in the top 10 not on my list he wouldn't be he's all potential but he's disappointing because he hasn't done anything that people in here say needs to be done for you to be that high up in the rankings.. He's a lot like Trevor Lawerence,

they both came into this league with all that HYPE, supposed to be generational, Manning type ,you know Peyton Manning types, the next Tom Brady guys, and they have both been very disappointing when you look at it that way.

we look at Prescott being a 4th pick that wasn't even supposed to start that year but got OROTY we're talking about a 4th rounder who has exceeded all expectations vs 1st overall and 5th overall...

His haters have been right about him being a loser for a decade.

Like it or not. The haters are right.

He can be ranked by some random reporter wherever. It doesn’t matter. At the end of his career he will retire a loser unless he gets a ring as a back up somewhere.
this is the unfortunate truth. and i loathe to agree

Wanting your team to win is wrong? Explain how that influences anything a player or GM or coach does? You're hate hasn't changed anything either it seems. So just stop pretending to be a fan. Say you hate the Dallas Cowboys. Then GTF out of here and go do something that brings you pleasure instead.

If coming on here and hating everything brings you satisfaction, then I'm sad for you.

You do know there is a middle ground, right? Not everything has to be love or hate.

You can’t protect Dak (or Marino) by hiding behind the “team sport” nonsense.

You play the most important position in sports.

You either get it done or you don’t.
I'm not hiding behind anything. Dak's teams didn't win the SB. This is a fact, until further notice.

How you are going about trying to push your anti Dak agenda is lame though. To each his own I guess.

I get the Dak slander because you hold a grudge and you are envious of him but the Marino slander is a twist M Night Shalayman couldn’t even predict. What a weird *** take.

Because their QB was a loser.

I’m Anti-Dak because I’m Pro-Cowboys.

I want to win and anybody with a brain knows Dak will never be a winner.

That's easy have your own opinion have your own beliefs and rankings don't matter but however you perceive him as your own thing..... I care about the team we've lost big games and we've lost in the playoffs because there was no team surrounding our quarterback at the right time when you don't have a run game you don't have a physical offensive line when you can't stop the run too many penalties bad coaching bad play calls it's all happened guys not getting open I mean the whole thing has been a mess and yet it always seems to come down to ranking the quarterback no we need a great team to show up this year if you want to do anything it's going to depend on how the team gels with the new coaching staff and how quick they can get rolling..

I'll make it simple it starts in the trenches you have to run the ball effectively you don't have to be the best running team in the NFL you just need to stick and commit to the run you need to be able to stop the run and then you need to play defense those are core blueprints for the NFL that's never changed...

I mean if you need proof how did Derek Henry not elevate the Ravens they were the second best rushing team in the league and yet one of the worst rushing teams in the league made it to the Super Bowl that would be the Kansas City Chiefs that's right they were up there with the Cowboys almost exactly and yet they made it to a Super Bowl that's what we call a team they played pretty damn good defense up until the Super Bowl they played balanced football for the most part annie Reed did not care that his starting running back went down and that he had to use a jag off the street and Kareem Hunt they stuck to it their run game was as bad or worse than ours and they ended up in the Super Bowl because their team was good enough..

but like I said this team is only going to go as far as the trenches their offense and defensive lines and the scheme this new staff is creating they must be able to run stop the run and play defense quarterback typically has great seasons when that happens..
Here, let me answer this (8,527 words later) and those are my thoughts, so don't respond back because I won't read it!

You’re player over team though.

What you think really doesn’t hold much weight when you’d rather see the player get paid an extra million than the team win rings.
You can do both....you openly root for Dak to get injured....all that money in the hot tub. You openly root for us to lose, to make Dak look bad. YOU'RE JUST A HATER!!!! You cult is the same or they're good fans that gave into your stupid comments and posts.

Anyone with aspirations to make a living playing ball knows the deal going in. Or at least they should. Part of that "getting used up and spit out" is the opportunity to earn a degree at no financial cost. Another part of that "getting used up and spit out" is being paid very well for their time, even at the bottom of the scale.

Playing even a season in the NFL brings rewards most of us would never see at that age.

Sure, the NFL takes no prisoners. Just like pretty much every single career one could imagine. We all get used up and spit out in some manner. If the "used up and spit out" player can't take the windfall they earned with their athletic abilities, after what they should have known would be a short career, and transition into another form of productivity and contentment for what will likely be the majority of their life, well that's on them.

This notion that any human is entitled to make generational wealth in the space of 1-10 years is ridiculous. If you can, GREAT. If not, welcome to reality.

For the record, because I know how you guys like to grasp at straws in the absence of logic and reason, I have no problem with players getting all they can while they can.
Works both ways...fans should know that, too.
