Who's the QB with the most help

The Ravens still depend heavily on Jackson which is why they falter in the playoffs. He’s having to play too much hero ball. If you contain him no one else steps up. Henry was held to 84 yards in the lost to Buffalo last season in the playoffs. He had almost 200 yards the previous week.
They’ve tried I don’t know what they can do they’ve spent first rounders on talent and can’t seem to get enough for him.

this is a pretty poor measure of help or roster score, but it is something and list feels close to accurate.
Kleiman is a fake aggregator account that doesn't even write his own posts.
he steals then monetizes.

Hurts is obvious because the Eagles are willing to manipulate the cap so aggressively.
Lamar has help some seasons and others he does not.
Pat has some help (specifically Chris Jones) but again this isn't a true roster score which almost certainly would show he had at best an average roster last year.

Dallas lack of draft success recently to pair with zero free agent success means Dak had no help last year. But he had a decent amount of finish 2nd in MVP voting.
Deciding it was OK to be bad at LT and let Tony Pollard walk, while drafting poorly were costly in roster scoring.

Dumb lists.

Chris Simms has always been an idiot. Hated when he played for the Longhorns. Sucked in college. Was worse as a Pro. He still doesn’t get it.
Simms is not an idiot but he is a willing actor. He intentionally creates nonsense lists because that is the only attention he gets all year and is what keeps him employed.

Exactly why I don't see anyone accurately use last season against him, especially after missing several games. In other words, last season isn't an accurate assessment of how well Dak can play with a full deck.

A poorly conceived one at that.

Burrow gets the crap beat out of him, game after game. That team would be garbage without him
Burrow and his receivers is pretty much all the Bengals have. Burrow put up almost 5000 yards and 43 TDs, leading the league in both categories, and the Bengals ended up 9-8 and missed the playoffs.

I had this argument with a Bengals fan about a week ago. He was continually bashing his team’s roster and said Hurts is a lesser QB who’s carried to greater success, so I asked, “If the Bengals had a lesser QB but more talent everywhere else, they’d be a better team?”

And he goes, “Of course.”

I said, “would an all-pro LT, an All-Pro MLB, and All-Pro DT, and an All-Pro Safety make up the difference?”

“Probably”

“So what you’re really doing is advocating for trading Burrow, as he’s not good enough to carry the team and what you could get in a trade that would replace his AAV would be more beneficial to the team than Burrow himself.”

“wait, no….”

If Burrow played for the Cowboys he would have his share of haters. This fan base is unforgiving. Most if not all the blame is directed at the QB when it’s not going well. Had Burrow led the Cowboys to a Super Bowl early in his career and lost when he had a chance to win it in the end and hadn’t gotten the team back since that wouldn’t be acceptable for a lot of fans. Burrow hasn’t been perfect. He’s had his share of bad games. He had one game where he had five turnovers. He lost a game to Cooper Rush.

Despite the fact he’s one of the top QBs in the league this fan base wouldn’t be satisfied. This is a fan based that booed Troy Aikman later in his career and wanted Randall Cunningham to replace him. Burrow his had his share of injuries and has only two seasons where he got the Bengals to the playoffs. Cowboys fans would have a problem with that.

This will probably sound dumb to some, but IMO a franchise QB is responsible for how his backup plays when he’s injured.

What I mean is if Joe Burrow gets injured for 6 games, and the backup comes in and plays terrible… that’s no different than Joe staying healthy and playing terrible in those games as far as the team is concerned.

So drafting Joe Burrow meant Cincinnati misses 3 of the next 5 playoffs, whether it’s because Joe keeps getting injured or Joe just plays really badly. To the bottom line the difference doesn’t really matter. QBs should be shunned for repeated injuries way more than they are. It’s why I ultimately wanted Carson out of Philadelphia, and a concern Jalen may come across as he ages as a running QB. By the same thought, Michael Vick was more or less an error by Atlanta. He made 1 NFCCG but otherwise they missed the playoffs a bunch of times. Had they simply sold 1st overall and went conservative, they could have duplicated that success; or done better.

That sounds incredibly dumb. Not sure how you came up with that. Wow! lol

BTW......word is Jackson will soon pass Dak as the highest-paid QB in the NFL.
That’s what many here said about Purdy. Jackson is going to have to get to a Super Bowl to top $60 million AAV. Bottom line is if Hurts can manage to quarterback a team past Mahomes and the Chiefs, and you have as good a roster as he does, it’s time to show. Otherwise Lamar and his Mom are not going to pry $60+ million per season from the Baltimore Ravens.

My point is a QB’s value is how durable he is. That doesn’t get brought up nearly enough. Joe finishing 60% of his seasons healthy is a really big deal
