Great game for Cowboys, they had lost 2 in a row, and wash was 11-0, only 3 teams had ever gone 12-0.
Jimmy had said he needed to win of 3 games, to make playoffs, and he had lost the first 2 lol, so he was determined to win
this one!
This is the game that made me and Madden a big Jimmy Johnson fans. At end of game Madden says it is best
coaching job by a HC that he has ever seen. Going for it on 4th downs, a hail mary at end of half, when most would just
kick the FG. Emmitt ran like 30 times I think.
Great game I watch ever 4 years or so, and now is a good time to watch some of the jimmy era games.
I also ran across a 1990 game with Tampa bay, will post it too, also a 91 or 92 game with KC, and Brian's dad is HC for KC!

I have no memory of this, and dont have any games from 1990 so this should be interesting.
Emmitt is a rookie, norton , holt, and many of the SB teams are on the team at this point.

in the Tampa Bay game Emmitt got his 1st 100 yd game !
The Cowboys won 7 games in 90, had they won 2 more they might have made playoffs.
They lost to losers Jets, and Atlanta, and I wonder why . They also came withing 1 point of beating
Philadelphia.

Just 1 more game. Cowboys had the tie breaker against the Saints. Had the Rams beat the Saints in the last game of the season, Dallas is in. If you didn't live in the area, it was very hard to watch Cowboys games in 1990 based on their '89 season.

I had to go to a bar to watch that 1991 game against the Washington ??? I don't know what to put there. But how do you not have an 11-0 team nationally televised?
