Positions I am comfortable with/worry about prior to camp!

I think corner is the one spot every seems to be concerned with but I think it’s much better then being credit for.
It could be, but right now, we are playing Booth and Mukuamu some with the ones at outside corner. The hope, obviously, is that Revel will at least be ready to go and Diggs will as well at some point. If they do, corner could be a strength. At the moment, it's Bland, Elam and whatever body we can put out there. And Elam is no certainty since Buffalo was willing to dump him for little compensation.

Overshown's injury hurts. No dis on Parsons, but O was becoming a key piece in the defense and really stood out when he played. He was also going to be a star.

My biggest worry is they'll rush him back and it ends up impacting his injury progress or regresses somehow.
Let’s stop with the Oveershown/Parson comparisons . 8 games is not 3 all pro seasons. Next thing you know Overshown will want $30 million a season after 2026. He played well but some you guys think he is the greatest off ball linebacker in Cowboys history.

Only positions I worry about year to year are GM, Coach, and QB

They have sucked for 30+ years

Meh, he is all hopped up on coffee and Jerry is letting him have his moment for now. That won’t last.

Thing is, if this guy fails, it’s not going to be about his ability. No one can win with the Jerry ego show over their head coupled with the inability to be a qualified NFL GM that can construct a winning roster. Even if he once was (wasn’t), he is almost EIGHTY THREE.

If it goes badly, Shoddy is a scapegoat, if it goes well, Jerry is in front of every mic saying dumb things, undermining him and patting himself on the back.

Bottom line is…there were plenty of HC vacancies and no other team wanted to even pick his brain. It’s a typical Jerry hire, and not even his first choice. MM couldn’t get out of the building fast enough. Must be a great place to work.
I am preparing for Shotty long term. This is Jerry’s guy now. The bots have effectively hoodwinked the fan base in believing this career backbencher with ZERO shot any other coaching job is a viable HC here. It’s pathetic. I pray the staff can overcome him.

Agree with concerns about RB, DT, LB. Only concerned about health at CB but I think we have decent depth there.

One game doesn’t make you not a number one corner. I get the cautiousness of Elam but Bland has shown what he he is.
I know Diggs to take out an elite receiver, but don’t have the same confidence with Bland. Not saying Bland is a jag by no means, but he isn’t an elite cover corner in my opinion

There’s a number of concerns, but with Dak coming off another serious injury QB is always going to be a concern. His latest injury was a non-contact injury. Now, every time he runs or scrambles you have to worry. With the QBs we have behind him we’re doomed without him. We were still able to win a few games with Cooper Rush.

QB-Good, like the #2 add to develop
RB-very worried. Not sure we have a every down back. Heard zero from Blue thus far.
TE-pleasantly surprised with Spann-Ford emergence.
WR-Good, would love to see either Tolbert or Mingo take that next step.
OL-Good. Hearing good things about our tackles, but let's see how they perform when the pads go on.
DE-Good, probably our deepest position. Hearing good things about EZ, Sam.
DT-extremely worried. 3T should be fine, but just unproven talent at the 1T.
LB-very worried. Like Sanborn, but he has athletic limitations. Murray is by far the biggest concern cause his lack of instincts, I am expecting another Jaylon Smith. Marist I like the most, but still green.
CB-very worried. Booth/Muku have been playing outside corners with the 1's and getting roasted. Cannot expect a rookie coming off of an acl to start day 1.
S-Good. Watch for the Syracuse undrafted kid to make the team. Hoping for a bigger role for Thomas.
Coaching-Good. Confident schemes on both sided with be improved

Training Camp will determine if the front office has to go out and bring in a few veteran reinforcements.
The QB room isn’t good.

Grier and Milton?

Agree.

QB room is a wreck.

Well I don’t know if he’s elite but we don’t need him to be. We need him to be solid.

I have concerns about running back as well, but I felt that the biggest issue last year was the run blocking and commitment to it more than anything.

Changes in that area are the biggest reason for my optimism.
I’m not too concerned at RB. It’s not about the RB’s it’s about the oline. Dowdle isn’t a super star but he got 4.0 per carry abd I think oline will be better this year. The difference in 4.0 and 4.5 is huge

I share your position group concerns. RBs, DTs, LBs and CBs…And trust me if we can see the problems from the distance we sit from the team, they are real concerns.

My sincere hope is this front office stops using hope as a roster building strategy. Because using hope as a strategy is how you get a wake up call later that your roster isn’t built for the playoffs.

RB and CB….both tackles as well…are definite question marks, but I actually think the answers will emerge from who is here.

It’s DT, and to a lesser extent LB that I don’t think they even have the bodies to make miracles happen, and that’s what’ll take them down. We’ve seen this how many times going back how may years? It’s arguably worse now.
