Myles Garrett: Parsons should get every penny he's owed

I have no idea why Garrett should inject himself into this conversation. "what he is owed" is meaningless. Put a number on it then let's talk.

I think Jerry should and will pay Micah. I have no idea why he is waiting but more than likely Jerry will pay Micah more than he is worth. That's the Jerry way.

Shouldn’t he do a team friendly deal? I mean he’s commented on that before I thought.

For the brotherhood!! Just ask the person who first mentioned this!

Yeah it was just to look good nobody believed him and even if he wanted to Jerry was going to wait and wait until all other players set the market and higher

I guess the next question.....will he show for training camp if the deal isn't done? I would not.......but that's me

He has said that he plans to show up. Whether he'll participate is a different question. I think his agent would advise him to sit out practices and not risk injury. He might only sit out contact drills, though.

I think after talking to his agent, who wants as much as he can get, that ship has sailed.

I wouldn’t. Too risky. It’s ridiculous this isn’t done. He’s an elite pass rusher. One of the top pass rushers in the league. You either pay or trade and we can’t trade now since you couldn’t use the picks till next year

.... I bet Jerry is churning hard on this one. Pay the guy major Cheddar, then watch him have a Diggs or Zeke play out.

Almost no premier player is gonna take a team friendly deal on their 1st contract extension. You only see mid tier guys and below take them.
Exactly. It’s different if it’s a 3rd or 4th contract. People mention Brady but forget he was the highest paid player at one time. He took less once he got years of top money

Ultimately unlike Dak, he is an elite player in his position backed up multiple All Pros and knocked on the door for defensive player of the year on several occasions. If I was an owner I wouldn't have an issue paying someone like Parsons.
Dak was second in MVP vote lol

Hate to break it to everyone, but he is signing a record deal when Jerry decides he is ready to write the check….something he isn’t doing until he can get some attention out of it. Now isn’t that time.

It’s that’s simple.
