BTB: Why the Dallas Cowboys are Firmly in the Mix for NFCE Crown

i dont know how much better than average he is, might be 12-15 which techincally is better than average....and yes he could help them to the promised land but needs everything to be just about perfect for him to do so
Dak needs help, he is a better than average quarterback but when he is asked to do too much you get the interceptions. That goes for all QB 's ,one player can't do it all,the coaches and the roster must help Prescott.I am not bashing him either just stating the obvious.

I'm not gonna read the article but it's not overreaching if you think about the last time this happened in 2020 where Prescott got injured the season went into Crapper because of excessive injuries the very next season he had one of his best seasons 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions he seems to be in a very good place in his life right now,

He's got a new family a new house being built he seems to be in great shape he's been getting lean he seems to be aware that there isn't much more of a window here with the Cowboys he has two to 3 seasons at the most and I believe he's feeling it.

Also believe he's pretty excited with the new coaching staff which was also the case with Mike McCarthy in 2021 when they were healthy Prescott just picked up that offense and went with it so there's no reason he can't do it everyone keeps saying we're going to be fighting for staying out of the basement this year and I'm telling people I don't know how gullible you are and realize that last year was more because of the injuries it was more because of the lame duck coaches the fact that Mike Zimmer took over already questionable defense and couldn't get what he needed established because they lost players by the handful as the weeks went on they get somebody back they would lose three people it never got on track....

I'm not guaranteeing we're getting first place but people saying we're getting 3-4th place as if it's a given like Washington's not going to have a sophomore slump they were overrated last year i'm not trying to take anything away from what they did but in my opinion they were overrated they got a had a lot of the look and some of it was because the Cowboys were severely injured...

Again I'm not predicting greatness, i'm not even guaranteeing first place,

but there's no reason to say they can't happen the Eagles are going through a lot of change right now and nothing is set in stone nothing's guaranteed for any of those teams that's why it seems like it's odd in our division and yes the eagle should be the favorites but there hasn't been a back to back winner in a very long time so don't underestimate our own team i'm not saying get hyped up for big things but we could be fighting for the division title with a healthy team it's how this team stays healthy and getting some of the good players back that will start on PUP and all that good stuff it can happen..

By the way I hope our opponents read all the articles and believe all the hype that the Cowboys are going to be fighting for last place and division and take us for granted go ahead I hope so that'll benefit the Cowboys no respect for the new head coach or the coaching staff no respect for our quarterback go ahead disrespect us even all the arguing going on right now that the Eagles don't want to admit that maybe lamb and Pickens could be the best duo in the NFC or the NFC East and that they believe they have the best they're disrespecting that move they're saying it's no big deal...

Go ahead disrespect the Cowboys I want you to take us for granted..

Agreed- and I keep hearing that it was the injury last year that derailed him, but reality is he was playing like crap before that happened - take out the garbage yards against Baltimore and he was really struggling last year.

Hopefully a revamped oline and Pickens plus a better running game make it a better setup

for someone that constantly whines about people not reading his novels, it is rich that you now see you will not read the article but want to comment on it

That is exactly right, Dak has a better team and coaches around him this season. This is going to be a good football team I believe. I think Dallas will be a good running team and a balanced offense will be the result. Prescott will lead this team to the playoffs with a better supporting cast.

I find it interesting that the author questions the sustainability of Daniels’ performance, while Prescotts physical ability is considered a given.

Even if so, he made it further in year one than Dak did in nine.

The success within the division is also interesting. Is THAT sustainable?

Stop talking and get out there and do it.
If the guy writng this article has to stop talking and get out there and do anything on the field for the Cowboys they are not gonna win.

My guess is that nobody else is 11 and 2.
You are kidding aren't you?

You do know that only 2 other QBs could get to a 11 and 2 record against Washington and given the putrid Giants are 1 of those teams, Dak basically has a 50/50 chance!

I cant be sure if you are just the most enthusiastic fan in the world or something else.
