Hes still just 29 years old, I doubt his speed has fallen off completely. I'm sure this is partially DQ supporting his player after he was the joke of the internet last week after the mini camp video, but that video is also not what most are making it out to be either.

The question on Deebo is simply can he stay healthy for a full year. If so hes dangerous...its just tough to be dangerous from the sidelines.

I would have to disagree with you there...at least to a certain extent. When on the field the guy is still a difference maker. The issue is he only ran 378 routes a season ago. 670 yards (433 after catch) on 378 routes is still excellent production. Yeah it looks like his elite 2021 season was more of an outlier than who he truly is, but he is still putting up legitimate WR2 type of numbers.

I mean you disagreed and and agreed because he’s not the same guy he was in 2021. That’s all I’m saying. Can he be productive? Sure. Ekeler was productive. But was he Ekeler of old or the old Ekeler?
