DeMarcus Lawrence spent 11 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, so seeing him in a Seattle Seahawks uniform is rather jarring.

The Dallas Cowboys lost their two longest-tenured players this offseason. Zack Martin, their first-round selection in 2014, retired after 11 seasons. DeMarcus Lawrence, who was selected in Round 2 of the same NFL draft, left in free agency.

Lawrence ended up signing a three-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, and unfortunately, made some comments that led to a beef with Micah Parsons, and left fans with a bad taste in their mouth.

He's broke.

I am glad he is gone....not the player contributions because he was a very very good dirty work player that did so much to make those around him better...but i am glad he is gone becuase there was baggage with him and it was becoming an issue with the team. Not saying that others werent contributing to it, but good to get new players into the fold with the new leadership.

Wish him the best and that he sucks anytime he plays the cowboys or any team that it would hurt the cowboys should the seahags win.

Hope he has a good year….

I mean I think so but it’s levels to it. He’s not Troy Aikman legend but he’s certainly Romo and Dez Bryant legend…
In terms of notoriety instead of legend, I believe Demarcus Lawrence is comparable to Dez Bryant. Not so much with Tony Romo though. And before I get vilified (not by you necessarily), I do not see Romo's notoriety measurably equal to Troy Aikman's.

I consider Romo and Law the same in their respective fields. Especially since they didn’t win anything or play big in post season games.

Now some would add Witten and Ware to that but they were all decade type careers so I can see them being in a different class then Romo and Lawrence.
