Smith describes Commissioner Roger Goodell as a “cold, dark void.”

As to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Smith says this: “If Jerry Jones saw a dollar bill on the ground, I truly believe he’d stop and pick it up.”

Then there’s former NFL general counsel Jeff Pash. Smith calls Pash “definitely the most unscrupulous.

I would have said a lot worse about Roger Goodell. But I never met the man.

As for Jerry, I don't get the dig. Unless the dollar bill was clearly the property of someone else looking to pick it up and Jerry kept it for himself, I don't see the slight. It would be worse if he said Jerry wouldn't pick it up as if he was too arrogant to stoop for a dollar.

I don't know the other guy. He is an NFL lawyer, but you could probably say the same thing about most lawyers and not be far off.

Jerry has a lot of flaws but Jerry is responsible for making that guy a lot of money despite not being a good union president. Jerry is the one who wanted FOX to get to bid on games.

I suspect many in NFLPA are clad he is gone.

You know over the years it’s been proven he’s cheated on his wife, abandon an out of marriage child and in a terrible photo with terrible implications….this might be one of the nicest things I’ve heard about Jerry.
