Jerry’s already inflated ego has grown exponentially in the last few years. Probably thinks because he has the most valuable sports franchise that he rules the sports world. He’s certainly had some success with his 3 Super Bowls and billions in the bank. But what he’s doing lately with these star player negotiations is hurting the football team. It’s a distraction. A huge distraction. Now Jerry likes the distraction, “Any news is good news for the Cowboys” but this is getting out of hand. Time to do something Stephen and kids. It’s all about Jerry right now when it should be all about the team. Please do something about because the Cowboys are currently the biggest joke in the NFL because of all this contract negotiation nonsense.

My friend, this goes well beyond contracts......and has been the case for 30 years

You had me until you said Stephen should do something. Have you not been listening to him as well over the last few years? This needs an intervention from beyond inside the building. The fish may stink from the head down, but in this case it completely stinks (as in management - though the team they put together isn't much better at this point).

Rock, bottom line Parsons is not worth what he's asking. He wants to be highest paid defensive player.

Dak, CD, and Diggs already have good portion of pie. Then Bland/Pickens next year, if 25' goes well.

Jerry will want to retain these guys. Paying Parsons all that cheddar, probably negates the possibility.

...just saying.

PS.. Trade him? Hellz yes.
;)

Sign him or trade him I don’t care. Just do something instead of being the laughing stock of the NFL.

we've been the laughing staff for sometime now.Its not the Micah situation that brought it on its just another example. I dont know if the internet rumors about the packers trade were true or not but Id take it.The only downside is you probably want micah in the AFC

I am just tired of his shenanigans and constant media whoring and meanwhile we are getting further and further away from a SB
Jerry’s the lead on all the talking head shows with his comments on Micah’s agent.

New ownership is needed.

What billionaires have a life long dream of being the owner of the Dallas Cowboys?

I’m guessing most billionaires don’t care about being the Dallas Cowboys owner, I’m sure there’s a few but how many and who are they.

The Jones needed an intervention 20 years ago.

even if the Texans haul off and win 4 Superbowls in a row I doubt he'd change. Been chasing Jimmy for 30 years.
Trust me. It is completely safe changing 'I doubt he'd change' to 'he wouldn't change'. Jerry Jones' automatic retort for being questioned about another franchise's success is 'Well, I won three'. If badgered by a follow-up question, he would respond with 'What do you want me to do? Tear down the stadium and build another one?'

New ownership is wanted but is not a necessity. The foundation of three Super Bowl winning teams (and an NFC runner-up to boot) was laid when he was the owner who stayed out of his own way. The compromise (which will not happen) is for him to re-adopt the same strategy that worked for him in the first place.

Thats what a GM that is there to win would do Rock, our GM is there to create stories for the owner to be in the media.. its not about winning has not been in a long time.. its sad my Cowboy Brother.

Well if he’s unwilling then that makes new ownership a necessity.
