If Jerry sold it would have to be to an American Billionaire or fund, I think the sale would get blocked by the NFL or government if it was sold to anybody else.If Jerrys all about the money, would he sell the team to one of those middle eastern "sovereign wealth funds" for way more than its worth? $50bn maybe?
They seem to be buying into pro sport in a big way. Only a matter of time before they try and buy NFL teams for crazy money.
BTW I dont agree with their sports washing approach and wouldnt like this to happen.
Jerry already made it from Hoffa and the Teamsters. Want to start from that point and then providing for a Jimmy Johnson? No my friend. It's FAR past time for that.

He who has the gold makes the rules. And any children that buck the system will be written out of the estate! So you tell me who goes first to approach the dictator.Jerry’s already inflated ego has grown exponentially in the last few years. Probably thinks because he has the most valuable sports franchise that he rules the sports world. He’s certainly had some success with his 3 Super Bowls and billions in the bank. But what he’s doing lately with these star player negotiations is hurting the football team. It’s a distraction. A huge distraction. Now Jerry likes the distraction, “Any news is good news for the Cowboys” but this is getting out of hand. Time to do something Stephen and kids. It’s all about Jerry right now when it should be all about the team. Please do something about because the Cowboys are currently the biggest joke in the NFL because of all this contract negotiation nonsense.
I'm not buying they are stupid from the start...they don't collect a lot of foreign money for the kids.He who has the gold makes the rules. And any children that buck the system will be written out of the estate! So you tell me who goes first to approach the dictator.
If you’re watching the games, you’re lining Jerry’s pockets so please continue to pony up.Yep and for years and years of ineptness I continued to spend my money on this team but I realized I was just fueling this nonsense a long time ago. You can continue to pony up though.
Well, check ESPN and the NFL network and whenever they talk about the Cowboys they’re laughing their ***** off.I sort of agree on this but I challenge the laughing stock part as a negative
Making headlines - making billions - everyone hates the team or loves them
Remaining in the spotlight is better than not
Ask Cleveland fans about laughing stock of NFL
Irrelevant - not even mentioned half the time
Do they even exist in this NFL machine
Cowboys are not a joke or a laughing stock because they drive and churn this marketing machine and maintain relevance in the NFL
Highest rated / viewed games
Most national stage presence - heck world stage
So laughing stock —— nah
Since we have had the recent release of the new Netflix series I am hoping it will make fans think more deeply about the mgmt style of the current ownership. It’s a distraction. A huge distraction.
I agree. The Netflix series was very insightful. All y’all should watch the Netflix special on the cowboys.
It might explain something’s!
In short it’s Jerry’s business.
If you don’t like it pull for some other team.
In the words of the rock…. It doesn’t matter what you think!
It will be easier to push Jerry’s non-sensical behavior once the season starts. Hang in there. Things will get better.I agree. The Netflix series was very insightful.
I just wish as a fan that it wasn't this way for a team I love to cheer for.
Honestly Jerry's style makes it hard to be a fan when you want the team mission to align with your views of how an NFL franchise should be run. You don't have to have everything you want in life, but it would be great if the Cowboys were a quiet, steady and stable ship.
I think they would still be the premier franchise in the league. They could have won SuperBowls using this mgmt style, and still be at the top of the value chain in worldwide sports franchises.
IMO Ithey could have accomplished all the successes of the past 35 years without the manufactured drama. But that is just me.
Sports washing is just awful but we allow it because capitalismIf Jerrys all about the money, would he sell the team to one of those middle eastern "sovereign wealth funds" for way more than its worth? $50bn maybe?

They’re currently a laughingstock IMO.Again
Just adding dollars to the pockets of the NFL
Laughing on BSPN and any other talking head shows is all a part of the show and shtick
To me a joke or laughing stock in literal terms means no one shows interest , No one tunes in
These shows can’t live without the cowboys
Hardly a “laughing stock “
Teams stilll get up and prepare for the cowboys
Do you think teams do that for for a team
Like The Browns ?
Totally disagree. Do some research @Rockport . Jerry is finally putting his foot down. He offered Micah a record setting guaranteed contract. Micah declined it because he has become super greedy and a liar. You are supporting a super greedy liar over the team. Remember, there is a salary cap in place. No player should be above the team’s ability to financially keep or build a playoff capable team in place. The minute you start siding with the player's greed, you've become a player fan over the team fan. Make a choice..Jerry’s already inflated ego has grown exponentially in the last few years. This has nothing to do with whether he signs Micah or not. It’s the circus sideshow that’s making the Cowboys the laughing stock of the NFL that I don’t like. Don’t know how you got anything other than that from my OP.Totally disagree. Do some research @Rockport . Jerry is finally putting his foot down. Poor insights there and not much loyalty for the years of sacrifices and dedication for team ... and yea, fans as well. They’re currently a laughingstock IMO.

Remember when play celebrations were given validity? You call the sacrifices and deadly retirements a circus...Jerry had level 4 cancer for a decade. This has nothing to do with whether he signs Micah or not.
