It's more about the pick swap. If the Saints had given us a sixth straight up, I'd consider it a good trade. We got two years out of him and then would have gotten a slightly lower pick back. As is, we did not increase our number of picks with this trade.

I guess I can see that, I see it as we've improved that 7th to a potential top of 6th round pick

Yeah, this is not good. Outside shot that Blue develops enough to salvage the running game, but Sanders and Williams do nothing for me. This could be a big problem for a team that claims it will run the ball a lot.

Being honest I was expecting it to be some Saints DT we never heard of before.
