No speed it’s a very slow three if you don’t have a running game, you can shut that down easily and then you can creep your safeties up to stuff to run even more or you can play it straight up.
Speed kills and so do bad GM’s
No speed? Pickens, Turpin, and Blue are among the fastest players in the league. CeeDee has a 90 yard touchdown reception and other long touchdown receptions throughout his career. The Cowboys will make plenty of big plays this season.

Hollywood Henderson once put a hit on Earl Campbell for the ages.

Bill Bates put a hit on an Eagles kick returner that was so vicious that when he got up he ran over and sat on the Cowboys bench. He literally didn't know where he was

Cliff Harris put a hit on Billy Kilmer that would have gotten him suspended for six games today.

Those are the ones that I recall.

I’m hoping Blue can be our home run hitter

Love to see him refuse to play and Jerry refuse to trade him and then tag him for two more years after this. This is dumb and dumberer between Micah and Jerry.

Also, notice the old fumble rules. Watching the Netflix documentary, there were atleast 3 times where Mike fumbled the ball, where today they'd say he never completed the catch.
That fumble against the 49ers in the 1994-95 NFC Championship by Irvin would have been an incomplete pass by today's rules. San Fran scored a TD off of that. Could have changed the entire game and Dallas might have ended up winning 4 straight Super Bowls.....

I say Jerry offers him a 4/200 contract with all guaranteed money. Have Micah sign it, declare his back fsooo much better...Jerry then gets his copy to sign, and he signs the Big Middle Finger....as much as I hate Jerry, I have him overpaying for guys that don't deserve the ask, this is one of those cases. I hate on our QB as much as others on here, but Dak has never walked away from a quote or screen capture looking like a fool like 11 does
He's not worth QB money.

I dont think either one is bluffing. It's more of a pissing contest at this point. We, the fans, lose with this mess.
Well, look at it this way. Hes had good training on playing games by two of the best. Jerry and Stephen.

Mazi isn’t good now and he never will be.

I’d rather have a guy who may develop.
Mazi is better than most want to give him credit for.

Can the team upgrade yes, but to suggest a guy who has played 3 years total of football is ready right now to unseat him is just agenda ladder.

I wanted CJ too, for practice squad, to develop further.

Micah is trying to pull the "can't trade an injured player card " to be difficult. He wants a huge bag and he wants it here in Dallas. He's trying to manipulate Dallas. The kid is lost. Needs gone. Sad he has fallen so far so fast.

That rumor about the Packers offering two firsts, a 2nd, and a 5th, that would be good coming from the Jets or Titans, not the Packers.

Jumbled offensive line, Dak hasn’t played in a year, new running backs, new #2 WR, …I think this has the makings of 6 false starts, five holding calls, 4 sacks, and 2 INTs because QB and WR not on the same page.

No way this dude gets a big contract here. He’ll be getting tagged for the next two seasons while we wait for the right trade offer. Micah is a LOSER!

Parsons is obviously the best defender on the Cowboys and makes a case for being the best defender in the NFL.

On the other hand there are many superior level defenders in the NFL. How many NFL defensive players would you consider to be in the same tier level as Parsons. It is not limited to Parsons’ position. The other players can play any position as long as it’s on defense.

Now think about this: Is Parsons likely to perform better than a majority of that group over the next 5 years and how many new players will arrive that will escalate to Parsons’ tier and how many of those player will Parsons likely out perform?

When you look at this situation though this lens from my point of view the probability that paying Parsons to be the top defender in the league doesn’t look like a winning cap strategy.
I'm more interested in a winning game strategy than a winning cap strategy.

Not having Parsons on the field is the opposite of a winning game strategy.

They could go for the QB and play for the long term rebuild. But Jerry would never do that. He's in his 80s and wants a team that can be relevant right now; while hoping they get lucky one year. That's the big problem.
Jerry never went full rebuild. Jimmy did, though, and it worked.
