The timing of the MRI is immensely important to everything that you've whined about. And an MRI is not in any way shape or form "every measurable objective standard."
It's Micah's back. He is the ONLY person that knows what it feels like.
You say "no doctor can find" but moan about him getting a 2nd (I think there are far more than two doctors in the world) opinion. Make up your mind.
Nobody has suggested said the injury is real. All that's being suggested is that you ask critical logical questions of both sides, and not just make limited and ill informed critiques of only one side.
The timing is relevant because you want that information as soon as possible. And it's especially relevant to your whining because you were harping on him getting a 2nd opinion NOW. You complain about the timing of the 2nd part while ignoring completely the timing of the FIRST part. The first always comes before the 2nd. That's how it works.
YOU are the one who has acted like this all just cropped up a week ago. The fact that it was an "issue" for so long and they just now did an MRI kind of destroys your entire whine fest. And you say he should have "informed the Cowboys immediately." HE DID! You are talking out of both sides of your mouth and arguing in circles.
An MRI isn't a cure all. There may be no issue, but just because one MRI didn't show it doesn't mean there isn't one. And again, an MRI is FAR from "all available medical testing." You pretend everything possible has been done and decry a 2nd opinion at the same time. It's ridiculous. And for a third time, no an MRI will not 100% catch something.
You have no understanding of my opinion, or reality, so you resort to calling someone a simp. Nothing about what I have said has suggested an opinion one way or the other about whether or not the injury is real.
I'm engaging in critical thinking and logic. I ask reasonable questions about both parties. You're just whining, stating factually wrong and logically weak arguments.
You're having a tough time here.
We'll go line by line through your ridiculous post.
“The timing of the MRI is immensely important…”
Wrong. The timing is irrelevant when the MRI showed nothing. If there were a real injury, you’d want it diagnosed sooner, not sat on all summer. He had months to press it and didn’t. That undercuts your entire point.
“It’s Micah’s back. He is the ONLY person that knows what it feels like.”
Exactly. And that’s the problem. He’s the only one saying something’s wrong. Every measurable, objective test, including the MRI, says there is nothing wrong with his back and he is cleared to play. That matters, because medicine relies on evidence, not just feelings. He’s relying entirely on his own subjective complaints, which conveniently can’t be disproved but also can’t be verified.
If his back was truly as bad as he claims, he would have pursued treatment months ago, demanded additional scans then, or at the very least kept the team in the loop. He didn’t. He sat quietly all summer, watching from the sidelines and now suddenly when the team pushes forward he cries “injury” and demands a second opinion. That’s not how an honest player behaves, that’s how someone plays games with the system.
Let’s call it what it is: he’s fraudulently manufacturing an injury narrative in order to protect his gameday paycheck while avoiding the field. He knows that as long as he says “my back hurts,” nobody can prove otherwise. That’s not bravery or caution, it’s opportunism. Further, I'd bet anything that if he were traded tomorrow or signed a new deal, this phantom “injury” would miraculously vanish.
At the end of the day, objective testing says he’s fine. His entire claim rests on subjective self-reporting, and the timing, the silence all summer, and the sudden push for a second opinion only after being cleared all point to the same conclusion: this isn’t about health, it’s about leverage.
“You moan about him getting a 2nd opinion…make up your mind.”
No. I'm saying is that asking for a second opinion after being cleared is gamesmanship manufactured by his agent. If he didn’t like the result, he wants a do-over. That doesn’t make the injury real; it makes it look manufactured.
“Nobody has suggested the injury is real…only asking logical questions.”
And I'm pointing out the obvious circumstantial evidence: if he signed the biggest deal tomorrow, the “injury” would disappear. He is obviously using the second opinion in bad faith and deserves to be called out on it.
“The timing is relevant…you complain about the 2nd part while ignoring the 1st.”
Again, the MRI timing means nothing if it showed no issue. If something was truly wrong, why didn’t he demand it back in June? You can’t have it both ways. You can't sit on an "injury" for months and then complain when the MRI shows nothing is wrong.
“An MRI isn’t a cure-all…doesn’t mean there isn’t one.”
Sure, but it is the gold standard test. At some point, you can’t just keep moving the goalposts and insisting something invisible is lurking there. If he needs more, he’s free to get treatment or another scan. But he should prepare for a grievance if he relies on some quack to say he can't play but can still can collect a game check.
“I’m engaging in critical thinking…you’re just whining.”
Critical thinking means weighing all the evidence, including circumstantial. The most obvious conclusion here is that there’s no real injury, just leverage. That’s not whining — it’s reality.
