Makes no sense for Micah to fake injury if he wants to be traded and get paid. It would be suicide. No one will bite. Now if he is really hurt then Jerry should not sign him this year.

Dang, that Roy Williams video brought back some crazy nostalgia. I used to have the whole video on my hard drive (along with some others), but I lost them years back.

There was a forum member, Tek2000, on a Cowboys forum I was on WAY back in the day that would make those videos. It's funny to see how far we've come in video quality. lol

I personally don't see top 10 run stopping defense
One has to look during the season....funny part of a new football season. It has to be played.

Now. Why? Jerry Jones and a crumpled 30 year old calendar are not evidence of anything but lack of faith.

Everything is based upon this year's team, and not your disappointments. Funny thing, former games aren't just rerun.

We’ll be dependent on QB and passing game. Let’s hope we can protect our QB or he won’t make the season.

But typical ingredient for disaster. Not running the ball or stopping the run.

I think this is a plan by the agent. If JJ offered to make him the highest paid in total, guaranteed and signing bonus then what’s the issue. Is he not liking the years. Wanting a shorter contract to attempt another big bag. If he plays great he will get paid great money.

The "reported" trade package Green Bay would send Dallas is two 1st round picks, a 2nd round pick, and a 5th round pick.

I am assuming that's a 1st and 2nd in 2026 and a 1st and 5th in 2027. Considering the Packers would probably be in the latter part of the round, I am not convinced that's good enough compensation. But still worth discussing as a hypothetical.
Tell them to send Jordan Love for one of the first round picks.

Yea and when Parsons misses the first 2 games and the Cowboys give up 40something points, same thing will happen.

I think it's a solid negotiating strategy from Parsons to sit out games if he can get a doctor's note.
This is not a SB team, may not even make the playoffs. We have given up 40 points with Micah in the past. Micah is not the savior for this defense.

I felt that way before but if he's going for "second opinions" that may be changing.

Its beyond a hold out at that point.

I think we have until week 1 practice starts or his "doctors note" becomes public. At either of those points Im guessing both sides are dug to deep to recover.
I figured he's going for second opinions because the Cowboys doc cleared him and he doesn't want to be on the field but doesn't want to lose game checks.

I'm tired of hearing about Parsons! This whole situation just makes me hate Jerry along with Dak.

Dude is becoming nothing but a distraction. Can we just move on?
Jerry has been a distraction for damn near 30 years. It does not really matter at this point. This team is going nowhere.

As soon as you stop worrying about winning, this team can be entertaining one way or the other.

Roy Williams brought the wood before the NFL changed the rules. He straight up folded anyone coming across the middle.

Also a couple years ago the hit on Giants QB Daniels towards the sideline. IIRC his teeth got jacked up from the hit.
I don't remember the game but there was a receiver who had a hospital pass thrown to him running a slant over the middle. He saw Roy coming. He knocked the ball down and threw his hands up. Roy pulled up. The receiver went back to the huddle and told his QB off. Madden was announcing the game. He said he'd never seen anything like that, but he understood why the receiver did it. Roy might have killed him. He's one of my favorite Cowboys.

Someone else mentioned the Teague hit on TO on the star. Agree it wasn't the biggest, but it was the best. IIRC they called offsetting penalties on that.

And has anyone heard what his agent is countering with. What exactly is he looking for. Does the agent want his own contract also. He gets 3%. That’s the cap. Thats why they want as much as they can get but they have the players listening to them. The agent does not have to deal with the locker room. But all these players don’t care anymore. Won’t even fulfill the contracts. I know it’s a short career.
