Some classic ones here for sure.

A couple from the "Old Days":

I remember Ed "Too Tall"Jones hitting Chuck Foreman of the Vikings in the 1977 NFC Championship Game right after his getting the Handoff and causing a Fumble,he got him big time.

Billy Joe DuPree nailing J.T.Thomas with a Blind Side Block during a Tony Dorsett Run at Pittsburgh in the 1979 Regular Season Game."De-Cleated" him.

As already mentioned, Dennis Thurman laying out Harold Carmichael from Philly in Week 16 of the 1980 Season at Texas Stadium ending his consecutive games with a reception streak.Charlie Waters with the Great Quote-"We had to do something about that streak and Dennis took care of it."

The one I wished that I could have seen was Lee Roy Jordan hitting Running Back Timmy Brown of the Eagles and breaking his jaw at the Cotton Bowl in 1967.Brown had done some "talking" about his performance from a game in the 1966 Season where he returned 2 Kicks for TD's to beat Dallas.Late in the game he went over the middle for a high pass and Lee Roy put a brutal hit on him.

Eagles fans have always called the hit a cheap shot.Jordan said that it wasn't his fault that Brown's Face got in the way of him breaking up the pass.

Dang, that Roy Williams video brought back some crazy nostalgia. I used to have the whole video on my hard drive (along with some others), but I lost them years back.

There was a forum member, Tek2000, on a Cowboys forum I was on WAY back in the day that would make those videos. It's funny to see how far we've come in video quality. lol
Even before that it was jsmith with the original Roy "Boom" video.

No way this dude gets a big contract here. He’ll be getting tagged for the next two seasons while we wait for the right trade offer. Micah is a LOSER!
So are the Cowboys. This acrimony is the most exciting thing about the Dallas Cowboys. If it weren’t for this contentious issue the talk amongst fans would be whether or not the Giants can finish ahead of the Cowboys this season.

Do you think Jerry would rather have that?

I think it's a bit like DeMarcus Lawrence not being willing ot have surgery until after getting his big deal. It's simply risk aversion without assurances. Jerry eventually caved because waiting would have cost Lawrence playing time. Parsons is wanting a doctor to say there is some risk to force Jerry's hand.
Theres risk when they walk out on the field. They get payed plenty for it.

Limited Diggs if he plays at all
Bland
Elam
Steward 7th rounder with very little actual game play
Bridges

I know many if you are upset about DT spot. But CB was my biggest concern and nothing to really improve has been done.

I know we have Diggs returning and Revel maybe coming. But this is pretty bad spot to be in.

Frustrating as a fan.

Let's hope for an injury free game there. Maybe after week 1 they add Gilly or a vet.
Hopefully we add Zion back after he clears.

Maybe partly because the Zeke deal that resulted from that holdout turned out to be a terrible contract?
Could be but any fan knew it wouldn’t end well with zeke’s history plus holding out with 2 years left on his rookie contract? That should have told you all you needed to know.

Idiot Jones could of wrapped this all up last season. Now-thanks to him-here we are again and it'll happen next season also. Guaranteed. Either way IMHO.. Micha isn't handling it in the right way. Just a mess per as usual in Dallas since the lone Reaper has been in charge.
Who is to say that when Jerry tried to negotiate last year Micah wouldnt have gone to his daddy and been told no?

 :flagwave: For site benefit: today's new math still doesn't make 2+2 = -1.78

What about Zach Martin’s holdout?

Fans never turned on him.

Hmmm
He was actually the worst offender. He wasn't holding out for an extension. He was holding out for more money than he previously agreed to in his contract.

I think the biggest issue for me is Mecah talking about how he didn't need to be the highest paid, wanted team to have other talented players on the team. Not a big difference in 30 and 40 million.

After that message was out...I was 100% on board with keeping him

Now here we are....and now this "back injury", same stuff that Ramsey pulled has really turned me against keeping him.
So if I understand this correctly, if Micah flew to Cabo and sat out until he became the highest paid DE ever (but never previously said that he wanted to be) you would have felt the same about him as you did zeke?

Found the Roy kickoff one. This is actually kind of scary. He could have killed that guy.

Guess you can't timestamp the ones you have to watch on Youtube... It's at 2:27.

You can timestamp for YouTube. You just have to convert your time to seconds. At the end of the YouTube link, you have to type in "&t=147s" for the timestamp you want here. Here's that same link posted below cued up to where you wanted it:

Yea and when Parsons misses the first 2 games and the Cowboys give up 40something points, same thing will happen.

I think it's a solid negotiating strategy from Parsons to sit out games if he can get a doctor's note.
There is no parallel. That was a super bowl team. This is a 7-10 with Micah
