Being from MS, I always pull for the Mannings. Congrats on the first game! Our crew bleeds red and black. William Carey University in Hattiesburg…NAIA. My wife played basketball there. 2 of 4 daughters played softball there. One of my daughters is the pitching coach/recruiting cord. there now. My wife retired from coaching last year. Another daughter coaching HS basketball in our area. Lots of grands playing organized sports from MS to FL. I’ve got a granddaughter, 6th grader, starting for the HS softball team at the same school one of my daughters coaches BB. She’s got a huge upside. Life is good! God is good!

Like I said this is a kick in the gut This rang up the cherries it hurt when I heard it was to the Packers but that is too much Jerry did the right thing in this case.

You do realize other teams have gotten rid of great players I mean Khalil Mack got traded but Tyreke Hill they were in the middle of a playoff run going to Super Bowls but Kansas City didn't want to pay him anymore he was in his prime and he got traded..

First and foremost this is a business and there's a salary cap that is too much money for Parsons That's too much money for any defender that's quarterback money I know it's not top 10 quarterback money that's been disgusting here but that's what most average quarterbacks make you know after the top 10... He literally acts as close to $50 million a year you can get and that's what Jalen Hurts makes and a lot of quarterbacks in this league are making right now that's the problem he changed his tune from I don't need 40 million I don't need to be the highest paid skill player in the league to asking for 50 million from the Cowboys and got 47 million from the Packers...


Say it again it hurts but the more I start thinking about this this is the right move from Jerry..

We need all the drama no should have happened before the draft yes we probably could have got more for him right before the draft But in the end I really believe and I'm not trying to downplay this it's a big loss for the Cowboys it's the right move.

Look, I wouldn't be this upset if it wasn't the Packers. There were a few teams I didn't want him going to, besides the division. The Packers (along with the Chiefs, Pats, Texans, or 49ers) were one of them. And the thing is, this was unnecessary to me. If Jerry had just contacted Parsons' agent last year when Parsons was open to a deal, this could all have been avoided. But, as usual, Jerry has to make it about him. He has to soak up all the drama and media. Well now he got burned! Only problem is, he doesn't care, so it's really us that got burned. That's why I'm fuming. If it was the Ravens or Chargers or Broncos, I wouldn't be nearly as upset. I'm fuming that it got to this point, but at least in that case, it'd be easier to stomach. This?? Jerry may have just ruined the Cowboys legacy even further with this deal if Green Bay wins a Super Bowl because of this.
 
Guyton or Steele gonna get a baptism week 4. Could we see a repeat of the 6 sack game given up by a cowboy. Can’t remember who that was but I thing he was filling in for Tyron
 
I’m just glad they took action. Either sign him or trade him. They traded him. Ok.

IMO there are two problems with the trade…
  1. They traded Parsons to an NFC contender
  2. They didn’t get enough in return.
Other than that, I’m glad this stupid drama is over.

Dallas was in big games with Micah, see the Green bay playoff game but it didn't help, he ran his mouth all week prior to the game, didn't show up in the game and then ran out of the training room and avoided questions from reporters, yeah some leader....NOT!

Perhaps Mulugheta insisted his client no longer wanted to play for a “low level” team, in any conference. Remember, there would have been no trade if Micah wasn’t willing to sign with the new team.

Agreed. Micah and the agent wanted this all along. I will go to my grave believing this. I don't think he wanted to sign here again.

This team traded the wrong guy if they want to win rings. Micah was number 11 not 4.

What you seem to not understand about football is you can’t just keep trading players and drafting new ones. Once you hit on a player you keep them.

Funny thing is you actually think Jerry and his dumb son are going to do anything with those picks. Get ready for another Taco or Mazi situation.

First of all as good or better players have been traded how do you think we ended up with Deion Sanders and Charles Haley Look I understand what you're saying but no it's not that dumb Not for $47 million a year he hasn't even let the league in sacks yet he hasn't been Defensive Player of the Year He's not worth $6 million a year more than TJ Watt or Miles Garrett he just isn't..

Get two first round picks we got a starting defensive tackle and we have cap room to sign somebody else.

Khalil Mack got traded tyreke Hill got traded lots of really good players have been traded from teams This is the first time it's happened to the Cowboys so it's shocking and it hurts but stop acting like this wasn't good business for the Cowboys it's not about the fans or the football I can see why Jerry wouldn't do it...
 
This better be all for packaging 3 first round picks to nab Arch Manning in the draft.

This 10 yrd player diva is not worth it. Just watch. He’s lazy and going for the bag. Once he gets it he’ll be good for one year then be forgotten. Finally Jerry made a great move not to give up the whole future for this loser. For that money we would win maybe 2 more games with that loser Micah . I only hope and pray this move will land us manning. Then after 50 year I might actually be interested
